Also not only music but she have a few music videos that never saw the light of day, right? Heavy Metal Heart teaser Love in Stereo which sadly was destroyed while editing and I read once there was something shot for "Ghost" and it just never came out???
-
NTMT B-sides part 2 would probably need her to record some more music and that's why she gave up nn But yeah it's pretty awkward it never happened since we still having plenty of titles that didn't make the final cut. Swamp Girl (was teased with 24 Hours), Rancid Girl, I'm not alright(Wasn't it a possible title for the record aswell?), Pretty Dull(Performed Live)... I think all of these happened after the album was already on the "right direction"... Anyway, I think the 60 days thin is runnin' out of time... any news about new music? don't think so

Yeah the Canadian release had some Bonus I guess (Money Honey extended intro at least) The Fame release was a bit messy if we take a look back at the tracklist changes through time etc Starstruck was meant to be only part of USA release, I Like it Rough was part of iTunes Exclusive before turning into an actual track for the record... lel

ACTUALLY THIS! I KNOW WHAT U TALKING ABOUT LOL For years I had this original version without the "Ooooooooooh" and "Duh oh uh uh" at the end but it was still in the middle of the "final album". When I downloaded the album on my new computed in M4A like in 2016, it sounded different and that was it. My bet is that between all the re-releases on itunes\TFM\Through the years they "upgraded" the song. If you check like "I like it rough" on spotify, it's also different from the original version. It doesn't have the autotuned vocals on the intro with "LADY GAGA...I LIKE IT ROUGH" before the beat kick in Lord won't allow that to happen leave that for people like Legend XCX but Gaga is not the type that would fit into this

I just realized I saw pictures of her arriving almost same time at the Ed Sheeran win. I would probably go back home n Anyway, after Ultraviolence & Honeymoon, it's nice she still managed to get a NOMINATION at that. It means people do actually pay attention on her and that's just great. She already got voted enough to make into the top6 albuns with names like GAGA and SHEERAN which managed to score really bigger attention from the media in general. It's already a good prize. Maybe next time <3

5 minutes before recording the episode "Hey, emily, so this is the girl that will help you" "Allie x?" "yeah she's dope, listen to this *plays BITCH*" "But...I sing acoustic-guitar-driven-songs..." "DO YOU WANT TO BE ON TV OR NO?"
-
yes "There's Nothing Wrong With You" was teased back before the Marina blog... We discussed it here few pages back

Wanna know what also would be perfect to close Joanne era? LEAK PERFECT ILLUSION & JOHN WAYNE STEMS The video is gorgeous and I'm happy about it. It feels so simple but really good, it's not a groundbreaking thing, but it's enough. Ended Million Reasonzzzzzzz

Decided to play Honeymoon while playing one game and then decided to put Ultraviolence and...It felt so long ago that I felt this. Really can't explain, but it felt nice. Feeling kinda peaceful aswell. Right now I'm at Old Money and, today, the only song from Ultraviolence I'm still a bit off is Sad Girl. Funny because I didn't really like the record back in 2014 appart from songs like Fucked My Way Up To the Top and few others... Now I see how beautiful it really is. Same goes for Honeymoon. Songs like MTWBT and The Blackest Day... I had to put the later one on repeat few times before really finishing the full record. Also Swan Song and the Beautiful "Don't Let me Be Misuderstood". Both records feel like a big journey. Just like a Movie passing through every song, and every last song\cover for both are the "credits" rolling up the screen. Old Money just ended, Other Woman began. I really love your art miss Del Rey x.

Heard that the video for Joanne is not the only "surprise" but coming from who it did I would take it with a bit of salt...

I like agree with of your post LOL at all. The Vegas residency is just tragic, specially for someone like me whose the only chance of seeing her live was cancelled at this tour and it was the only date that "couln't be rescheduled cuz it's a festival" but it's more likely Ladey Gags gives 0 fucks about doing 2 more concerts to replace a festival date since she don't want to get less money or cut productions cost since her stage is just a whole monster that can't be taken everywhere. I actually think there are Paparazzi photos of her with woman in a boat if I remember correctly, that was like in 2010 but yeah it's also pointless to discuss this type of stuff On this I also kinda agree, but at same time, it's not like the first time she does it. If we take a look actually from The Fame - The Fame Monster. The first one she was saying she would do anything for the fame, on the later she was trying to say that fame was almost something bad. For TFM - BTW She went on the route "Ohhh this next one is my most personal record yet" and "I live half between reality and fantasy" and all that mess. For BTW - ARTPOP she actually tried what worked only with Joanne. But since ARTPOP she's been like "So I decided to take the wig off, and all the costumes and I look myself in the mirror and that's me. That's what I want to show people" (this is from an ARTPOP interview. From like, Applause release). But well, ARTPOP went out of control with Management stuff. There's this Gap between ARTPOP and Joanne where seems like, on the initial project, it was about "being glamourous and giving zero fucks" but let's be honest and take a look around. Since 2013, the general public was CRAVING for some "real people" instead of Popstars. That's how people like Lorde and Alessia Cara somehow managed to get some spotlight. They're dressed in common clothes, pair of jeans, Vans or whatever... and it worked. Joanne suddenly happened, in my head, because she had the urge to release something til the end of 2016 and they just randomly started to put stuff together and created something that sounded "different" on the catalog of songs and would fit into these new "trends" of being "normal". Billboard even made an article about this when the album came out and it had a small shade to katy perry with something like "if you want to blow chantilly from your tits, it's still alright tho katy". I think she's Honest most of the time, but she's still a popstar, and marketing\publicity all that still part of the package. Of course there's stuff that's made for... "attention" every record, and I also feel that everytime the new campaign starts, she's into a new "character" but that's everyone. Beyoncé on "SELF TITLED" was all about the feminism and women rights etc suddenly for LEMONADE it's all for black lives matter and being empowered. For sure, there's the "good intention" of making the record and calling all that type of stuff out, but at same time it's still part of "marketing". It's all part of the "Re-Inventing" thing for Pop culture. Madonna was dressed like a cowgirl for "Music" yet she already announced how much she hates the cowboy stuff, the hats, the boots, everything. But it gave her her last a #1.

it's just to point step by step at what I agree and what I disagree. "fans need to stop pretending Joanne flopped because it's too slow" I still not getting it because the album itself didn't flop that hard and people don't say it's because it's slow. People actually pretend it's a smash like some type of btw from 2016. RedOne was good but right now he's just trash begging for her attention, it's digusting. He, of course, helped her but she already proved doing good stuff with other people and scoring hits. It's more likely what's her mindset. I feel that Perfect Illusion stems are either really good or really bad. Idk it's awkward to judge -- Joanne for me is her "Honeymoon". It's just really not pleasing but it will sound fresh and good. And there will be career gems. I don't think I put any Joanne song into my top10 of best songs but it's just ok to listen to it sometimes and appreciate. The problem is that she waited 3 fking years to release it after people were dying to drop dead listening to pop dance music. But anyway, could have been worst

NEW: Lana Del Rey - Interlude - The Trio feat. A$AP ROCKY (Urban Noize Remix)
DinahLee replied to urbannoize's topic in Music
That "Music To Watch Boys To" remix I'm.... Urban Noize I've heard some of your remixes before and I just never thought I'd meet you here at Lanaboards, dead. Keep doing it incredible as usual! Love love love it. -
I think she'll do the same route of 12 songs but this time around I hope she's not doing the whole record with one guy only. There were rumors about other producers right? that would give it some more...flavor
-
Girl just because you don't like, doesn't meant it's bad. Dancin' in circles is overrated but it was the only song on the album you could listen to and be like "oh this is single material\this is a real lady gaga song". "Joanne flopped because it's slow" then you mention Lana like she's someway how next to a hit or anything lel. No reason to ever think that people will look back at any album and laugh, if even ARTPOP now five years later gets some good notes here and there because media realized being way too harsh over it. And she won't work with RedOne again, not til he learns to shut his mouth and stop begging her for some attention.

This is really interesting (and a bit "superficial" I mean it looks really awkward\rehearsed LMAO) but it's really nice. I just expected the synths to kick in with something like Bitch when it was said "allie x producing it" n just kidding. And the girl's voice is really beautiful, I love this

I do think Joanne is boring but at same time I think it's the type of record that will sound fresh even from 10 years now. Playing something like Sinner's Prayer will always feel..."timeless". I have this own theory that Joanne just happened because she felt the need of putting something out before the end of 2016 or otherwise she knew her fans would tear her appart after the whole teasing from 2015 etc. She met with RedOne\Nile Rodgers but didn't like the direction and moved on. I feel she "enjoyed" being with Mark Ronson cuz it was something new, the music was "new" for her and she decided to follow that patch but really didn't feel "inspired" to create it as a... full era. And that's why everything ended so fast (I mean...September-October-November-December and the coffin nail was Million Reasons video. Then Superbowl which for me is not really part of Joanne but a celebration of her career and John Wayne was like trying to ressurect\put something else on the table but it was just...messy) No shooking they probably really gave up on Dancin' in Circles to put a brand new song instead, they knew that it would turn into another "G.U.Y." sittuation after the blackout from superbowl and beyond
-
I don't think her label even bother at this point because...I mean are we sure she's still signed? Cuz I don't know how they would really wait over 5 years to drop another record it's just... it wouldn't work it's just pure madness to imagine they would keep it together and not put "pressure" to have released something withing the last 2 years that she started to tease the record. It's likely that back them she already had things going but... This is like some twilight zone mess and I don't play with demons. That vid with snippets from the last page... they're really good. Sound really 80's pop and way more "shimmering\glittering\Lighter" than NTMT snippets back

why did she remove Music To Watch Boys To I want to hang myself -
holy f*ck I'm just... I mean is it possible somehow all the stars I enjoy\like are someway connected? Ugh I love some Shiny Toy Guns songs and I just... I'd never expect this relation. And Yayo about...someone on the band...I... Jesus really it's mindblowing
-
anywhere to listen to it? I'm kinda excited but also realized we heard a lot of the songs already so... er haha
-
The Bloody Mary stems I... I never heard anything like that... so beautiful... I'm...crying That gregorian choir, gaga oh my One of the synths sound like it would be part of a powerful disco dance trackt that's why I LOVE STEMS Didn't judas stems leak like... in 2012 or so? Well At least I know we do have the vocal pack with all the adlibs\bg\etc I was so skeptical because he was like so pissed about "people invading Gaga's property with leaks" but just few days ago, he posted a bunch of songs in WAV\HQ\UNEDITED files... then it clicked what happened and why he really felt pissed.

It's still on YouTube right now but idk let's hope.

Also i'd like to share the little life pleasure of the fact, on my "unreleased compilation", Draw the Line comes right after "Could it Be Love?" and... it's magical the way she does "UUUUUUUUUH" and then the strong beat\bass of Draw the line comes in. It's just... a concept. Also while still listening to the uneleaseds, right now, I really hope "Stranger" can make the cut for CLXIII. The demo leak really sound good and the fact it's missing one verse\a real bridge... the song can be fire. The hook "Put your hands on your head \ Did you hear what I said?" and also the post chorus "Woao"... it's really the tipe of "awkward" song that work as a pop song in other news, it's "mainstream" but not mainstream like the stuff from CLXII
