  1. Incredible how Arcadia always sounds like a brand new song for me every time I listen to it. Because I can't remember SHIT the moment that screeching mess ends. Bad lyrics. Bad vocals. Bad production. There's really NOTHING to save from that mess. Her worst single ever. Coachella-Woodstock In My Mind outsold. I'm GLAD there's nothing as cheap sounding as Arcadia on Ocean Blvrd. I'm excited to finally play everything from Norman - Ocean back-to-back tho. Chemtrails-BB-Ocean do sound like its own trilogy.
  2. wtf sis I thought it was something new But it seems like Yes To Heaven has a 2023 release date? Idk it IS coming I can feel it.
  3. Wait... we have 3 Ultraviolence outtakes, Life is Beautiful which for sure was the most requested unreleased song for years & 2 songs she knowledged before and performed live... Yeah it is coming, I can feel it in the wind... like the something of a Bomb.
  4. Laptop demos\concepts are interesting because they're real deep insights over her mind and creation process. A "Skinnydip in my mind", if you will . We've been able to trace some melodies that were re-used in different songs and even full verses\pieces with years in-between. I can dig they might not be interesting alone, but they're great for collection purposes. About Born To Die outtakes; I'm not sure if we have a clear timeline of when she decided to stick with "BTD" as a title + concept, and having other names like "God Bless America" and "The revenge of Lana Del Rey" (Jesus Christ this one is so iconic), we can imagine some other outtakes were fitting along. I really hope we'll have more about Lust For Life (and Norman Fucking Rockwell later on) soon. I never imagined we'd have a full concept between Paradise-Ultraviolence and now we have Tropico and all the Ultra songs; Lust For Life seems like something that started as one thing and then transformed into another, and she was still changing it very close to the release (Coachella-Woodstock, the "Political Songs" that were cut, Yosemite, TNBAR...) Let's prosecute the case!
  5. It’s all quite fascinating. Trying to tie things together, maybe Tropico was supposed to be a Multimedia project of Album (Paradise songs and early ultraviolence outtakes) + Movie? But then she realized the timing wouldn’t work out and decided to go for a Born To Die “full” re-release (Paradise Edition) instead of just putting up 2/3 new songs. (This could be further confirmed for that Interview she said “the re-release now will be it’s own thing”, I can’t remember correctly but I’m almost sure if when she really confirmed the Paradise Edition after the early hints of the album being re-released). Once she figured out Paradise, Tropico was kept for the Movie only and, by that point, probably focused on Paradise material only. Didn’t she confirm Tropico when she put out that Bel Air music video with “I lost my reputation, I forgot my truth, but I have my beauty and I have my youth. Tropico Film 2013” circa November 2012? I also realize this invalidates our dreaming about track list for January 2013 but I’m sure BlackoutZone himself said Tropico was a mix of Paradise and other songs, and it doesn’t make much sense she’d tease a full album while publishing a music video for upcoming re-release, or call it just “a movie” while having a brand new record in mind. Idk idk idk just trying to understand life. summing up; I think the track list with “pink champagne/earthquakes” and other songs are basically a real early Ultraviolence sketch (songs in progress) and by that point she already had dropped “Tropico” (as an album) concept, which itself was made up for sessions from post BTD-really late 2012. The whole cost for Tropico and producing and writing as a short movie were probably being planned almost “back to back” with Ride and Anthony on her side. It sounds crazy to envision a whole movie without the music to back it up.
  6. You targets were a Slay then. There are many people complaining from big cities and almost nothing on the shelves. I don't think it's anything to bother; if they're really predicting over 100k opening week, having everything shipped on first week could mean her highest debut ever. It seems like factories couldn't keep up with demand and that's why they're delaying some shipping, but that's also good, preventing steep drops over charts. Her power!
  7. They're shipping some, but it seems like only 1\3 of orders are going out this week. Physical locations like Target are having 6 copies on shelves. - HDD saying 115k? That's a huge slay, they probably aware of the vinyl situtation.
  8. It's gonna flop hard because of the vinyl fuck up unless her streaming numbers are like, Taylor levels to compensate. The great thing is that, if they really ship most of the vinyl at same time later, there's a chance she'll peak higher or repeak somewhere since Vinyl is her strongest metric.
  9. (Why are people acting surprised if we get a tour? Like the only album that didn't have a proper tour was Honeymoon and yet she did the Festival Tour which was pretty much everywhere. YES we CANNOT consider Chemtrails\BB since there was the PANDEMIC happening) Anyway, I think she'll do some warm ups gigs like the ones in Brazil, few dates here and there and then they'll announce a proper Tour for late 2023\early 2024. And with that yes I mean Born To Die: The Paradise Reloaded Monster Edition 5.0 meet me under the pale moonlight in my red dress next to the blvrd Tour.

Hey Boy\Shock Me. She was in her Stupid Hat bag i fear. Screams. God I love these Poppy snippets, she had a great way for that "surfing pop" like Back Together Yeah but we NEED the ALX songs. Phantom, In The Garden and (I still dream I know it doesn't exist) Homebound with that long ass beautiful synth intro. I'm so excited for her comeback. Cape God sonically wasn't something that attracted me 100% but the world building was otherwordly. Quite funny how CLX II is an outliner in this aspect.
  11. Someone here was looking for scrobbles on last.fm and there was a full list, but I think real "Desire" outtakes are "Dang" (which seems to be an early concept, maybe when they were toying the E.P. idea) and Rare Beauty (which seems to be replaced by Hopedrunk Everasking, since that was the only unheard\new title). Original Post: Eclipse then posted the tracklist when it was 13 songs long.
  12. The more interesting part for me was the fact it was copyrighted as Interscope since... I'm not sure she sold the rights of these songs? Didn't she buy AKA rights to get it out of circulation and owns it herself\not Interscope? How\Why would interscope buy something even older that was never really released.
  13. So happy A&W is her most interesting song since Venice Bitch and her best since Chemtrails (track). She managed to make these 7 minutes totally worth it, great and tight melodies, a nice switchup, agressive lyrics... ugh. She's HER.
  14. Maybe something is up... idk idk this is too strange for me.
  15. We need 🔪🔪🔪MARCH🔪🔪🔪 wtf is she waiting for??
  16. There's something quite fascinating that at same time she's not active, everybody knows she's not retired. She's not like, I don't know, Nadia Oh who just decided to vanish away and live her life. People are still waiting for Sky Ferreira after 10 years.
  17. last pages were great keep it going girls. Listened to Can't Pin Me Down on my car today. Cannot believe i saw this mammoth bop performed TWICE. It IS time to back off motherfucker.
  18. So. Of Course. It's a Book.

Mixtape has un certain regard about it. The way she's throwing everything at the wall, the more adventurous production backed with that glossy """hyperpop""" filter over them, it's really great. Troubled Paradise sounds way more refined and defined without pushing many envelopes, but it also shows her skills as a songwriter with stuff like Cowboys and how she's a rapper with Throatzilla. I really think she's talented as fuck and really great pop songwriter. People were quickly trying to dismiss her as a porno-pop chanteuse only but then she came and served Letters, Over This and etc. That's just history. What we've heard so far feels like stepping a little further with the more "approachable sound" without losing her edge. Manifesting her break-out now.
