It’s becoming very clear who actually cares and who are performance activists. I’m so sad that some other people that I’m a big fan of haven’t said a word. It’s not “speculation” anymore - this shit is real so there’s no excuse for silence. Yeah those celebs don’t owe her anything but they should say something out of empathy for an abused trapped human being. Not only have some of these silent celebs looked up to her but some have met her. Some even became friends with her. They’ve looked into her eyes and yet they don’t give a shit about her abuse. If Gaga (the self proclaimed kindness leader) doesn’t say a word, I’m going to think way less of her. Not even less actually, I’m not going to have ANY respect for her. Some of these activists clearly only want good press and it’s sick

I seriously doubt that she wrote that caption (or any of the other captions under her posts). This one in particular has conflicting info with what she said in court. She said that she’s been pretending that she’s okay but she’s not and she cries every night but her insta said pretending to be okay has helped her?? Bullshit Considering Brit’s insta is owned by Jamie’s company, it wouldn’t surprise if she doesn’t even know the password tbh. Remember when she accidentally went live on Sam’s insta? If I was to make an educated guess, I’d say that she checks her insta and what people are saying about her through Sam’s account. Who knows maybe she’s been liking some of the freebritney posts Sam’s been liking? Idk ?‍♀️

Clearly you don’t know the story of how it happened because it was easy for them. They didn’t go through the proper protocols to get her into one and they haven’t gone through the proper protocols to keep her in one but all sides are making loads of money so they don’t care. Everyone involved constructed a whole ass plan to get her into a conservatorship. Sad thing is that her team has tried this with other celebs such as Frances Bean Cobain, etc… Also, it’s very naive to think there must be “real reasons” for it as if the legal system isn’t susceptible to bias, bribery, incompetence and plain old unjust verdicts It’s alarming to me that someone has just openly spoken about their horrific abusive conservatorship and your response is trying to find a way to explain and justify it

I would bet my life that she has NEVER hurt her kids. Even if she did, that’s no reason for a conservatorship. She would just not be allowed to see them. Even speculating something like that is disgusting and I can’t believe that it’s even being brought up. Her mental health problems are most likely severe depression and anxiety, maybe even bipolar disorder. A lot of people have those problems but the difference with Britney is that she’s rich and people want money so she’s been put under this conservatorship. It’s obvious to even the stupidest person that there’s no reason for it apart from greed and a lack of basic empathy for another human being

I’ve read her court documents for years so I was (more or less) fully aware of how bad it is for her but actually hearing the words come out of her mouth crushed me. I honestly think that if I was in her place, I would’ve committed suicide. I can’t even comprehend how she’s managed to stay so strong for so long. Even facing some of her abusers today, she stood strong. Sam’s right - she truly is a lioness. I don’t believe in God or anything but you better believe that I pray for her freedom and happiness every night

Anyone else confused by this whole Cola retirement thing? I get that she wouldn’t want to sing it due to the disgusting things HW has done (that’s completely understandable) but she left the song on streaming services. Why wouldn’t she pull it off like Gaga did with R.Kelly? Granted, Harvey wasn’t singing with her but she mentioned and glorified him. His vile behaviour has affected SO MANY women in Hollywood and she knows how serious it is because she’s spoken about it. If she felt serious enough to say “no I’m retiring it and I’m not gonna sing it live to support women”, why doesn’t she feel serious enough to take it down? If you’re gonna leave it up for people to stream, why not just change the line live? I always thought the line was “harleys in the sky” like motorcycle heaven so she could easily do something like that but she doesn’t want to and that’s her prerogative. I just don’t understand why she won’t sing it live but she’s fine with making money off of it? What’s the difference between singing it live and keeping it on streaming services?? Chemtrails is one of her worst music videos. People only think it’s the best because it has good SFX and shit. The story telling is terrible. It’s just all happy and then bam it’s dark. There’s no transition or anything. It’s just random and you’re left to infer what happened as opposed to seeing what has happened in a seamless transition throughout Instead of turning dark out of nowhere, I wish there where some scenes that hinted to that earlier in the mv. Like it looks innocent to begin with but you can tell something isn’t quite right or maybe have scenes of her and her friends being happy but with random flickering dark imagery every now and again like in the 911 mv

Why act like everyone knew that nothing was coming when it’s not true? Nobody knew with 100% certainty. If you’re going to try and tell me that NOBODY on this thread was unsure if something was coming June 1st then you must be crazy. Obviously some people had hope that something MIGHT be coming since she didn’t clearly say “date has been changed”. Yeah using common sense then it’s safe to ASSUME that nothing was coming but that’s only an assumption - not 100% knowing - so of course some people would be unsure. I’ve seen LOADS of people genuinely asking about it for weeks I imagine that the emotional abuse line was a joking exaggeration. Like the way people say “I’m going to kill myself”, “this is traumatic”, “I’m going to shoot Nikki if we get more country”, etc... If the emotional abuse thing was serious then I’d agree that it’s out of line but dramatic exaggerations are common here so I don’t understand the pitchforks and torches

Lana has been really losing me as a fan since NFR. I only like 3 songs off of that record and even then I skip to the bridges. I only like 1 song from COCC and I dislike all of the new singles. In my personal opinion, idk how anyone can defend her lyrics NFR-BB. They’re astoundingly poor. Sure she does have a few gems but as whole?? Her melodies are much poorer now too. What happened to the structured, well thought out, beautiful melodies of songs like Carmen, Is This Happiness, Dark Paradise, The Blackest Day, Sad Girl, etc...? Even her unreleased songs have better melodies I’m not even going to touch the production because most of us agree it’s lacking in a lot of ways and that is equally her fault as it is the producers. Visually... there’s no effort. Pure laziness and that’s disappointing. Ultimately the visuals are part of her job too and she clearly doesn’t give af anymore. It’s not cute. Critics and lay people don’t really give that much of a fuck about her visuals, it’s the fans that care the most so the fact that she’s not putting any effort in is telling. Her shows now? I wouldn’t pay to see them anymore. Unnecessary dancers, backing vocals that are too loud, not singing at random times, etc... Before it was her showcasing her amazing talent. A lot of the time now, it’s just singing quietly behind her backing vocals doing a pathetic ‘dance’. The Lolita slut drop was iconic but the other little dances are just not it. She does have some amazing moments still but not enough for me to buy a ticket Again, I’m not going to touch on her controversial statements, lying to fans, disregarding fans, completely unprofessional behaviour, tone-deaf comments, those videos of her driving recklessly, etc... She and her music have changed and I don’t like it. Obviously artists change over time and that’s fine but it’s just sad that I’m not vibing with this change like other fans are. I loved her so much for so many years and it’s just depressing that I’m not liking who she is now.
