I was at a point where I couldn't listen to many songs of LFL anymore then I took a break from it and I can really enjoy the album again. Not her best album but it is still pretty good

"It hurts to love you but I still love you..." I listened to this song in Summer 2018 a lot..a few months after my brother passed away. This was a time where the song really hits hard....because this line described exactly what I was feeling (and still feel). One of the best songs on LFL if not the best song ...

Maybe the reason why she is not active on Instagram is that she is writing or recording or she just needs time for herself..but yeah at least a short live stream would be amazing..miss her live streams so much... and it would be a shame if we never get Y'semite and Roses bloom for you. She actually said that she wanted to put out Yosemite and she even put out Yosemite's sister track TNBAR. And she teased Roses bloom twice on her Instagram... it's like waving with a steak in front of hungry lions and that eat the steak .. lol... But if she doesn't plan to put those two songs on LDR 7 it would be amazing to release the songs as standalone. And yeah agree that now would be a perfect time to release them. But I think that Lana thinks that will leak anyway or that they maybe have leaked...Life is beautiful teas

I don't know why but I listen more than usual to Lana's music and to her live performances while I'm in quarantine. Her music is kinda like therapy if that makes sense and it is such a great escape.

Yeah, that's true ...and she also wants to put out her poetry book and her spoken word album... I guess we have to wait and see what happens in the next months...NFR! is only 7 months old and we now that Lana works on LDR 7 on some other projects (poetry) ...so we know that we will get something somewhere in the future..... Hopefully, she will stick to her plan and put it out as a surprise release or something like "Hey guys..my new record xy is coming next Friday.. here is the album cover shot by Neil Krug..hope you enjoy it" and then a single and a music video in the following days.

How to disappear as well. I had problems getting into this song but now I really like this track. It's somehow such a dreamy track. And I had a weird "relationship" to the title track. At first, I liked this song but after a few weeks/months I didn't really like the song and now I start to like NFR again. The TNBAR demo lyrics are superior but I get used to album version lyrics and can really enjoy this track now. Doin' Time isn't necessary for the album but it is nice to have this cute little bop before Love Song. Love Song is soft, beautiful and touching but I think because it is placed after DT it has more intensity..like you are dancing to DT and then Love Song starts and suddenly you find urself lying on the floor with tears in your eyes...

I can imagine that she wanted to put TNBAR, Yosemite and Roses bloom for you on an album- She said at Amoeba LA in Summer 2017 that she will put out those two songs (i know she said as a standalone but TNBAR made into the album and TNBAR and Yosemite are sister tracks-the ying to the yang and she said that loves those tracks ). In December 2017 she posted again a video in which you could hear Roses bloom for you. She also had a writers' block in fall 2017. During the making of NFR! she decided to put Yosemite & Roses bloom not on the album because it wouldn't really fit or for whatever reason. Maybe she was thinking that California would fit into the album and decided to put it on NFR!. I think she felt so comfortable with Jack that she showed him Hope as PARADIXO said... but I think she wasn't planning to put it on an album before she meets Jack and felt so comfortable with him. Maybe she had parts of HIAB and decided to put in on NFR! as well and finished that song with Jack. But it is just speculation And don't judge me...I have too much time to think about those things because of the quarantine

The third addition could be How to disappear and not The Greatest. The Instagram snippet she posted at the beginning of October 2018 of HTD (could be end of September as well ) sounded like a piano demo of the song. Lana did a Livestream at the end of October( if I remember correctly) in which there were right in the middle of making the beats of HTD. So I guess they finished it in November and did FILLY after it. In the Livestream at the end of December, Lana said the album was finished. So I guess HTD, FILLY and Doin Time. But in the end, it's only speculation and only Lana knows it

Banned for liking the idea of having watched all movies in the world..nobody has time for that and some movies are complete trash...

The title track starts to grow on me. At first, I liked the track but after a few weeks, it was my least favorite along with How to disappear(HTD grew on me as well and it such a dreamy track). Today was the first time I wanted to listen to the title track as a standalone and not during an entire album listening. The Chorus is still a little bit boring to me (except the "as you color me blue" part) but the outro is still gorgeous. Love the horns and the strings in the beginning even the intro is too quiet. Sometimes I didn't notice that it started oops.
