Top 5 : Thunder Black Bathing Suit If You Lie Down With Me Text Book Wildflower Wildfire Also I really love Dealer , Cherry Blossom & Living Legend Nectar Of The Gods has a really special place in my heart since it was always a fave of mine since it leaked & I build a connection with it over the years The rest of the album I still enjoy alot as well Though I have to say I replaced Nectar, LL,CB with a higher quality version of them & Beautiful often with the string version (love the twinkle piano in it though but I really love the string outro) -
The last time she sings " Open me up , tell me you like it, fuck me to death, love me until I love myself " (3:27-3:37) with those harmonies, I could listen to that forever and ever and ever This really became one of my fave Lana songs in such a short time The intro feels like standing at the sea, you can feel a soft breeze on your skin & hair and you take a deep breath. The outro is like a big wave pulling you into ocean. Amazing

Personality Test: Lana Del Rey Song Combination
Pico Ocean Boulevard replied to PatentLeatherDoOver's topic in Games
Thanks for doing this I got this and it seems really accurate, love the Lana songs & Crazy He Calls Me by Billie Holiday Archetype: The Giver Key Songs: 1. Video Games 2. Cinnamon Girl 3. Tulsa Jesus Freak 4. Black Beauty 5. Religion When I think of you, I imagine the epitome of a good friend, regardless of any mistakes you could have possibly made in the past. You wish to protect those you love from harm, but keep in mind that you’re also someone that is cared for—you’re just as deserving of a good life as anyone else. You have a strong, resilient heart that often expects little in return, and the world could use more people like you. Song Suggestions: Lie In The Sound by Trespassers William, Crazy He Calls Me by Billie Holiday, Linger by The Cranberries -
The way Ed said this album gonna change the game again & has musical surprises , BOZ describing the GPSOTSOMFWHDSF song and she moving away from typical song structures really makes me excited and so curious about the album Especially since NFR her song structures were often verse chorus verse chorus and some instrumental part somewhere in the song and some songs have a bridge. This is no drag though, I love most of them but super curious how the new songs will be structured & how it will work out Sorry y'all I had a little hype momentum again but I do think we are not prepared for this album

The album was really beautiful on first listen and I listened to it a few times more after the release but I really only go back to Sculptures Of Anything Goes, Body Paint and Mr.Schwartz now. Sometimes Big Ideas as well. I think it's the type of album that I gonna put on while I read a book or while I study

I listened to the song while walking around in the forest , there was snow, the trees were frozen , the sky looked gorgeous. The strings in the intro and the deep breath worked so good with the icy landscape it was so meditative Ocean Blvd was such a beautiful soundtrack for that walk, it was amazing highly recommend to do this I put two photos of the landscape in the spoiler

Exactly this!! Your post made me think more about this song, Maybe she's singing about her grandmother in it, because it really seems like they had a great relationship and that she meant alot to Lana. I wouldn't be surprised if she also drags Patty again. Maybe she is bringing all the good & bad aspects, memories etc. about her family/ the relationships within the family & the history into the song and let's all her feelings out regarding her family, certain members & the karmic lineage. Really curious to see how this songs gonna turn out especially since it's the opener. Maybe it helped her to get some closure about the family related things she hinted at in BBS & WFWF.

Still figuring out the line: It's like Camarillo, only silver mirrors , running down the corridor, oh man So I found out Camarillo is a place in Cali & there was a mental hospital which apparently inspired partly the song " Hotel California " as well which she mentions in the second verse too I imagine her being in that mental hospital and there are silver mirrors on the wall , it makes me imagine it looks like a mirror cabinett and she's running around but she only sees the mirrors reflection everywhere and can't escape from that place, kinda like she is trapped in it and that really frustrates her and the oh man really hits That song lyrically & sonically still amazes me, it's so brilliant

I don't anything about Tommy Genesis except that she is a rapper (definetly want to listen to her soon) , maybe she is not rapping but singing on this song or is doing backing vocals. Or the track might be not a banger , but more chill actually , maybe since Benji is involved a chill guitar song idk
