I feel like Ben’s problem is he can’t talk about Lana without also talking about new music. If he’d just post about her achievements (W magazine, the Hollywood bowl concert, her billboard chart milestone) without adding “new music soon” to every single one, fans wouldn’t be so irritated

After Ben said “new music soon” and “new music incoming” on June 4th followed by nothing I realized how truly useless Ben’s word is I think we could still get maybe a single this year (Maybe October like LYLYLAW or November) and the album early/mid next year, but that’s as far as my delusion is going.

I love how carefree she’s always been. Meet me in the pale moonlight leaked and she went to twitter to randomly announce West Coast as the lead. And then the billboards with her smoking with the “down on the west coast” lyric tease. truly a moment. I hope they do something like that for this album

As long as her sales stay consistent I really don’t think her label is going to put a lot of pressure on her to release a specific kind of song. LMLYLAW and COTCC (two slower songs) were the only singles off Chemtrails before the album dropped, and that album still managed to break records when it comes to vinyl sales. in my opinion, the only thing the label is going to do is make sure physicals are available when the album drops (so no surprise/digital only drop) because that’s basically all the income they get from Lana. She doesn’t tour, and no offense to her, but I can’t see her merch bringing in a whole lot of money

We’re less than 4 days away from October and he’s been saying ‘music soon’ since May, so I guess at least 5 months

How many months in a row can you say “new music soon” with absolutely no follow through

I had my first LDR9 dream last night. Lana released her first single and it was piano only played by Rob, but it was really upbeat and I remember thinking “I never thought she’d release a song like this again”. She reused the “one for the money two for the show” lyric and she was singing really fast, almost in OTTR fashion. I don’t know what this means, but I’m using it as a sign something is happening soon

Wait I just heard the lead single on the radio!! I can’t believe she Radar’d ‘Off To The Races’ 10 years later!! I love how the album really picked up the pace, and Rockefeller my umbrella was just a 10 second interlude before the heavy beats kicked in I never thought she’d go back to this sound and style
