My boyfriend said (after having to listen to the album about 12 times in a row ) that White Dress is the best song in the batch that she released. He also likes to do the sound she makes during the “white hot forever” part and by the end he was signing along to WAH and DBJAG. LMLYLAW was also one of his top songs last year and he likes title track aka my man has taste

this gives me LFL teas because I got the signed booklet and it didn’t look like anyone else’s (it also doesn’t look like that one )

I wonder if LDR8 will have the 12/13 month release COTCC was supposed to get she was super nervous about releasing this album and the praise has to be hitting her really good! April/May 2022 sounds like the perfect time for a country inspired album, with BTIG and the cover albums sprinkled in throughout the rest of 2021

Yes!! I know a lot of people joked when we got the song credits that it used the same guitar as UV that it could possible have a similar sound and the final production did not disappoint at all! I love the instrumental and their vocals blend together perfectly. Makes me excited for the other songs they worked on together

I knew this was going to be my favorite song way back in October!! I didn’t realize we had the live snippet for so long I thought they sant it in like December

me too! It took its place on my top 3 effortlessly! It really is incredible cover to cover! You can tell she put a whole chunk of her soul into it. Her voice is so full and she lets you know exactly how she feels! all of my Jack slander is completely revoked and I’m so proud of the art they made! I also love how COTCC even touches on some of the themes of Violet

I’m so glad we’re FINALLY in the post-release thread!! Seems unreal that we’re finally here! For me, the album is a solid 10/10 and shot right up to my top 3! My only complaint is TJF and BUS should both be longer. BUS just feels like there’s more emotions to explore and TJF could just go on forever. When that flute comes in the last couple seconds it’s so bittersweet because it means it’s already coming to an end. White Dress (the only song I wasn’t a full fan of) finally clicked with me. I’m so glad we finally got Yosemite, it sounds RIGHT out of LFL and I love it! Her best album lives on!! Im in the process of traveling for about 14 hours so I’m sure I’ll have even more thoughts and maybe finally have a ranking by then!

I’ve been reading all the reviews that have been posted and I have to agree with everyone who mentions how even thought COTCC is getting stellar reviews, I can’t help but be so irritated and sad for Lana that all these reviewers are STILL ripping into her early work they claimed she wasn’t authentic then and they still feel the need to say she wasn’t authentic then. But still want to praise her work now as if her past didn’t lead us to where she is now

Yes I definitely think you got it!! I’m not surprised it’s an old photo Her dark hair for her performances of LMLYLAW in December was beautiful but I do miss the blonde hair and she should have at least kept it until she finished the White Dress video so she could have a full Lizzy flashback

yeah the tweet said cream and biscuit but the actual post does make it sound more cookie flavored.. which would be a lot better of a flavoring..even tho she is going country and Western America does love its biscuits and gravy I’m waiting for you to find a picture that has the exact right highlighting of the hair and the same style to find out! Your main vice is the nails but I’m sure your keen eye can spot small details like the way her hair was parted and what degree of highlights she has

As if she hasn’t posted the wrong lyrics in her books since BTD Also the ‘official’ lyrics on the YouTube video is “you’re in the wind I’m in the water” and “I want you on me” literally every lyric posted that’s in the book doesn’t match the lyrics on the official YouTube page
