I’d love if Lana pulled off the June 1st date! I also agree that Blue Banisters is likely the lead single, and going by the 20 day theory of White Dress it makes sense it’ll be out the 30th! But at least with White Dress we had some confirmation of what it was...so far we’re completely in the dark..she only posted one picture on Instagram and then vanished..didn’t give a ‘excited for my new single/poem/whatever it may be’ didn’t give a date, and the Blue Banister picture wasn’t even posted to Facebook or Twitter...it seems like it was a very spur of the moment thing that she posted just because maybe she was greenlit the song coming out and she got excited and announced it early?? as excited as I am for whatever it is, I’m getting antsy for any kind of follow up information instead of the silence

no what you said makes sense! It’s just not a matter of Nikki’s vs Lana’s story, but that they’ve both told two completely different stories (story one that Nikki gave Lana BUS, and story two being Nikki and Lana wrote it together when Nikki said “breaking up slowly” and Lana sang “is a hard thing to do”)

Only 10 tracks and a mid June release date these past couple of pages of discussion aged poorly still super excited for it!! Sad there’s no happy loner or pink convertible though, hopefully they’ve been renamed/reworked

I’m glad the insiders are quiet, after COTCC’s ego stroking era it’s nice to have some peace and quiet. I would bet money they don’t have any info because if they did there’s no way they’d be keeping it a secret

I really liked mans world and I managed to find a couple 10/15 second snippets of the latest single and it seems really good to! Can’t wait to hear the whole thing tomorrow

I’m not expecting the single to drop until at the absolute earliest the 23rd, this weekend seems to close with how little info we have

@IanadeIrey gave me hope when mentioning that another artist on Lana’s label released an album on a Wednesday morning I’m not completely on June 1st but I do think it’ll be June!

I can’t imagine Mike Dean’s production on a song called ‘Blue Banisters’ but I would absolutely love to see it

Well since she’s officially announced the album and the alleged first single, yeah I believe them

So I haven’t seen it discussed yet but is that a new picture? It looks new to me but I know she’s been kind of reusing pics lately (RCS announcement was her ‘makeup for hiking’ photo in color) and if it is a new picture are we thinking it’s a random selfie she took or do we think it’s going to premiere with a video? (Either homemade or professional) I’ve seen comments about how she hadn’t tagged a producer or anything yet, but she usually edits her posts a little after posting to include details (producer, who shot the video, etc)

it 100% could have been. It’s a shame it’s one of the shortest songs on the album because I feel like there’s so many places it could have gone then again, maybe the length really helped it shine its been over a month and TJF still rocks me like it did when we got the snippet last year

If we’re going with WD being released the 26th there would have only been roughly 20 days between the first post and the single being dropped sooo it could drop the 30th, and that’d be a 20 day wait if it’s coming relatively soon I can see her posting again this coming week! I keep using Honeymoon as my basis for RCS album rollout because they seem the most similar (HM was made rather quickly after UV and released near perfectly) HBTB to HM was a month and a half so if the June date sticks I can see a single (and maybe a preorder?) either the 23rd, 30th or first week or so of May
