she’s been saying since LFL era she just wants to release music as she makes it, but she can’t because of her label. I think we’d have a Lana that’s 100 times more interested in her own music if she could release it when it was fresh in her mind, instead of over a year after the songs been made.

I mean I think so! Granted the rules are a little different when you’re a brand new artist and dipping your toes in the water. But I mean it is, by my definition, a buzz single.

I mean I’ve always felt like it is more a promo single. Like you’re right that it got more things than some singles, but I always consider COTCC the ‘lead’ single since it came with a high budget video and the album preorder it reminds me of Honeymoon, MAC, and the triple singles. They’re more a “here ya go” than anything. Released with absolutely no indication of things to come

agreed tbh! She is chronically trying to show off her high resister to prove she has a pretty voice, and while I absolutely agree that she does, it’s a bit old I do like that she’s really playing with her voice in butterfly and seemingly this song again tho. Step in the right direction

Henry end of this month with album cover and release date of June/July song 2 (because apparently we’re getting two songs before stagecoach) mid next month with a homemade video consisting of tour footage from last year And album trailer in May manifesting ❤️

I mean insiders can say next to nothing without repercussions from Lana’s team. Honeymouns and eclipse trolling last week saying the album was scrapped was indication enough that things are happening behind the scenes. Now we’re being told Henry will be out soonish (🚀) and we’re being teased maybe the album actually isn’t sirens on a budget. it’s been a LONG 14 months of silence since her initial Lasso announcement so atp I’ll take anything

like star like fan I guess idk I don’t want to say anyone is lying, taste/descriptions are always extremely subjective (LMLYLAW sounds like fine china) so I mean I always take things with a grain of salt, but “sirens on a budget” is a pretty accurate (based off of the one song we’ve been teased) description. i do have a feeling by the time the album drops the songs will have a richer/fuller production

but the album as a whole is “sirens on a budget” so to me Henry seems to fit the bill perfectly

I’ve been a Henry supporter from day one but idk I’m just in the mood right now for upbeat poppy music, a simple guitar ballad feels more like a winter/spring of 2024 thing. Not a spring/summer of 2025 song

This literally is so confusing to me. “Sirens on a budget” but Henry (the literal definition so far of sirens on a budget) is “the change of the album” it makes no sense. Unless Pantene meant lyrically? But even then, change fits LFL pretty well lyrically too

I feel like the first full week of April is probably when this is dropping. That’s soon-ish and enough time for fans to get a taste of the song before she ignores it plays it at stagecoach
