ATP it’s not so much a warning as it was a dropping of the veil. There was 1 person with over 100 billion when he started and now there’s 16 (my source is TikTok so don’t @ me if that’s not accurate but it sounds believable). Anyone with half a brain could see where America is heading, especially when you look at all of Trump’s cabinet picks, and Biden’s speech was really just the start of them openly admitting it.

I don’t understand why you’re acting so purposefully dense. If user A is presenting their argument to user B, and user C randomly comes in and insinuates they’re on crack while offering no counter argument, that is breaking the first rule of the guidelines (Posts that are purposefully inflammatory, rude, hateful, insulting, or personal attacks on any person including other members will not be tolerated). I know you know why that wasn’t allowed. Yes, images are absolutely a valid response, but dropping in the middle of a conversation, insinuating a member is on crack because they have a different view point then you, and then leaving, doesn’t contribute anything to the conversation, and just starts another loop of arguments. I think @ultrabanisters said it best though, you can absolutely have free speech, but you aren’t free from the repercussions of said free speech. Especially on a place like Lanabords. we do have rules and guidelines that were agreed to upon registering. the mod team is constantly between a rock and a hard place because we want open discussions, but 6 times out of 10 it gets out of hand, and it results in hurt feelings and out of control arguments. Users get mad when people aren’t warned for being inflammatory and then those same users get mad when people are warned for being inflammatory. I think instead of resulting to hateful attacks or generic ‘fuck off’ statements, both sides need to be more level headed, and try to understand each other because both sides make good points

I never noticed it until Honeymounz did a twitter thing about it awhile ago. edit: I'm wrong, it's always (p) lana, so yeah she owns all of hre records, minus Honeymoon

I never noticed that Honeymoon is the only album Lana doesn't own, and I'm SO curious as to the lore behind that

I want her to switch it up completely. She’s working with a new producer (Luke) so I’d love if the cover was shot by Wyatt and the art work is by special offer and maybe just for some fun an album trailer by someone new

I get where you're coming from, and I don't think an announcement is coming for at least another month or two, but the decision to announce anything (single, album, whatever) lies with her label and not with her. plus, it's hard to find a time (especially in today's world) where there isn't some sort of suffering.

People expecting UV numbers and impact when the only description we’ve gotten of the album is “sirens on a budget” while sirens on a budget is my dream, the GP is still stuck on 2012-2014 Lana production, and while Ocean had some nice big production moments, that doesn't seem to be the direction of this record. in regards to the alleged artwork producer, i really liked his work on Endless Summer Vacation, and I could easily see him take the Wyatt photoshoot and turn into something really hot summer night in the bayou esque. But, him posting a grainy picture of video games era Lana, with video games as the caption, makes me think it might be something not TRPWS related

I feel like this was a whole mini shoot with Chuck since she commented “I see it” or something like that on the post

People always say they want Rick back as if the last songs they worked on together isn’t Bartender and the piano only Happiness Is A Butterfly demo (all the snippets she posted were piano only and once Jack got involved he added the light guitars) I feel like “we want (x) back!!” Stems from a general unhappiness of the style of music Lana is releasing, which is all Lana’s decision. It wouldn’t matter who she worked with if what she wants to create are stripped back songs. Just look at WFWF, she employed synth god Mike Dean for a piano ballad.

People complaining about her posting and dipping as if we didn’t have multiple Happiness is a butterfly snippets for almost 2 years before it finally released. And Candy necklace for 6 months, and Tulsa for 7 months realistically this will come out between end of February and mid March and single two will be out early to mid April

tbh if anyone is expecting a big song from the acoustic guitar snippet we got they deserve to be disappointed the only thing I realistically think will happen to the song is maybe the guitar will be strummed slightly faster, but overall I’m assuming it’ll be more a Nectar scenario where it’s just light strums the entire time

Tbh as much as I enjoy leaked music as a fan, a lot of artists who have music leaked (Ari and Lana at the top of my head) are clearly upset (rightfully!) about it. it always seemed odd to me that people would steal someone else’s work, and then attempt to make a profit off of it

I’ve always thought that! Especially with how much of an influence her girl friends have made on her. If she was talking strictly romantic the title would be “the right man will stay”

if Lasso is on the album, I think it'll be it's own track (possibly retitled.) Like how White Hot Forever was the OG album title/title track, and the track got renamed and demoted to album track

well the album on the list still has it as May 21st, and the little blip about the album says May 21st, but I think it's safe to say it'll be out hopefully in June
