I saw a tweet or something saying Taylor was surprise dropping an album December 6th, and while I still don’t fully believe it, Kendrick surprise dropping an album, also produced by Jack, gives me slight hope maybe we are getting something

I do think her stage fright has gotten worse, but I wouldn’t say it’s due to any one thing in particular! When she was just starting out she sang her songs very weirdly and with pride (think 2012 million dollar man) and she did a lot of shows with smaller crowds and sounded fantastic! I think the bigger her crowds get the more nervous she gets. For La to the moon she incorporated the dances into her set so she wouldn’t be on stage alone, and since then she’s added A LOT more dancers and background singers. Even this year at Coachella, you could tell she was nervous, but I don’t blame her! I’m pretty sure this year she’s performed in front of more people than she ever has, and I think that would make anyone nervous

Tbh I hope she sticks with the “fun, at ease lyrics” and more “melodic, like American songbook” songs she talked about in June for NME. She’s got a second wind in popularity and just got married, so it seems like a natural progression to want to keep the songs happier and light this time around, and we really don’t need a third honest/revealing album in a row.

I have a feeling the ‘misquote’ was about her not recognizing herself in the Americana sounding songs, not her going Southern Gotchic. Obviously that isn’t a misquote since she’s said it multiple times and has the ‘Southern Gotchic’ instagram highlight. She’s said before that her older songs all have an Americana twist so it doesn’t make much sense for her to say she doesn’t recognize herself in those songs.

Not even American and owns multiple businesses and government contracts also the irony of having two people leading ‘government efficiency’ At this point, aside from the senate actually needing to approve these people (which they’re already trying to bypass!!) we just need to hope the incompetence will grind everything to a hault (so the more extreme policy won’t pass as easily) while also not completely weakening our entire government (which seems to be the actual goal here) I will say it’s a bit funny (not ha ha funny but scary funny) how after 4 years of “Trump is hitler and if republicans get into office America will be destroyed” Biden is shaking his hand and saying “welcome back” like. Don’t get comfortable in the ‘blue state’ bubble. A lot of things that trump/his team have hinted at for a federal level is very possible with a red house and senate, and will completely bypass the blue shield
