OMG??? It probably is Coachella related but that still makes me hype!!

There are a lot of good moments! some songs are a bit too long, some are criminally too short. But she was right, this isn’t a country album, it’s a Beyoncé album and there really is something for everyone

All of these iNsIdErS who tease new Lana music this summer are pretty much guaranteed to be right because she announced an album, and even Jack has talked about it. So like, obviously she’s dropping something during the summer

I think the narrative of “jack produces small songs” needs to end when it’s very clearly Lana’s decision what the sound of the songs are. Luke also has really full big songs, and the song that’s been teased from their session is Henry Come On, a light song with guitar only.

this is so funny because if you google “gangster Nancy Sinatra” she pops up I mean, I get why she felt some kind of way about it, but it definitely was a good way of putting her name out there. And “Hollywood Sadcore” isn’t that far off, but I don’t think that really fits BTD as much as gangster Nancy Sinatra does

Happy birthday to a top 3 Lana album This album got me through such an exciting year, and it’s still one of my favorites to go though!

I’m keeping expectations low and expecting the same set list as her shows last year with a return of the blonde wig and Flipside

I think the album is near perfect tbh What I would have done differently shaved off 2 minutes on both Margaret and Candy Necklace added Zodiac Spread out the interludes, maybe do AW-Judah- Zodiac- Candy- Jon. It’s still pretty much back to back interludes but I think that would have helped the pacing more because interlude- a song that’s two minutes too long- interlude really drags side B out

it’s not even released yet that was the first time the cover was posted, which makes me think it was label influenced

I know fans hate the idea of Lana not having full control, but with both of them being on interscope she might have been told to post it

The way I signed up for updates from sparkle jump rope flop on two different email addresses and neither one of them got an email about merch which is fine tbh, the merch is lowkey ugly and looks super cheap

idk I feel like almost 200 pages in a month and a half with absolutely nothing but a title and one snippet is pretty good I do think this thread won’t be as popular because fans seem very divided on her going country

How exciting!! Her magazine photoshoots have been next level this past year!! as far as Lasso news goes, I expect about as much from this as we got about Tunnel in W magazine May of 2022. Maybe a brief little description and a lyric or two, but nothing groundbreaking! I really hope she goes into detail about what she wants to do for Coachella

I’m absolutely not forgetting. That was beyond stupid and excessive. 11 months between ‘lead’/promo single and album better never happen again. April-September would be the same amount of time we had between the three blue banisters singles and album. And while even that was annoying (especially because she kept throwing fake dates around) it still wasn’t terrible

I’m completely fine with waiting until at least after Coachella for anything. It she releases after that, at least we’d only have 5 months to wait. A 6 month wait seems excessive
