I think it’ll be her label’s decision. She did just release the titty pic exclusive vinyl for tunnel where the only thing changed was the cover picture. It was a standard black vinyl with the same inside as the white one. While I do hate the trend, it would be cool because then we get extra songs. The songs would be uploaded minutes after the album comes out and two weeks before the album drops it just sucks because downloading the songs online doesn’t track it, and I’m a SLUT for my apple replay

I just think there are very good reasons to dislike her; but the songwriting itself isn’t really it. I get it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but of all her 100+ songs they aren’t all easily accessible pop songs that lack depth. But again, I am a fan of her and have been since like 2008 so of course I’m going to be biased. i do absolutely agree that the capitalistic side of her is very annoying and can seem inauthentic because if you truly want your fans to get all the music, just officially release it. Like midnights having like 5 variants by the end is super annoying, and like others have said, the songs will be available on YouTube/other sites at 12:03AM. I do think that as a billionaire she should cool it on the tricks and gimmicks, but at the same time why would she when half the fans complaining about it are the same ones who will still buy every single one. Every artist is bound to label obligations and she is no different. At the end of the day we live in a capitalist society and while it’s super annoying that it happens, it’s sadly expected. All I can say is, at least this time the people buying the variants are getting more than a clock or whatever other cheap gimmick shes uses before

I don’t get the “this seems inauthentic’/ ‘this is so Lana coded’ when speak now was very well written (Dear John, Enchanted, and Haunted in particular) Red is also very well written. She’s always had that deepness to her song writing, and It’s not her fault she capitalized on bops (I knew you were trouble, 1989, reputation) when bops are what sold. Lover, while being bop focused, also has some very well written deeper songs. Since like 2012 she’s been a business woman first and foremost so of course she’s going to release what she knows is going to sell. 2020 we saw all the indie girls blowing up (in part thanks to Norman) so she knew it was safe to release deeper songs. I don’t see folklore as a Lana copy and I don’t see it as inauthentic I’m sorry but it’s so frustrating to come to this thread and read everyone who already has made it known they don't like her criticize her/her work. I love her and I’ll call out her annoying capitalistic ways, but it’s so strange to me reading all these people who already don’t like her come here and downplay her work and that’s all I’m going to say on the matter because the people who don’t like Taylor aren’t going to change their mind and and the end of the day they’re going to think whatever they want

With as much as she made during the Love Sux seasons she really should have done a double album like she said she wanted to do, but this is Avril and there is always 4+ years in between albums so I’m not surprised that didn’t happen. Don’t get me wrong, I still love Love Sux and think it’s a really solid album, but all of the B-sides (and most the album tracks) sound almost exactly the same. She really needs to work work at least one different producer. It also doesn’t help that the leaked potential AL8 songs all still sound exactly like Love Sux B-sides. I’m still so confused why Californyeah and Too Fast To Live we’re scrapped. They absolutely eat up some album tracks (or they should have most been included since the album itself is 30 minutes) tbh I don’t think she has enough leaks for a ddl page. I think there was like 4 or 5 for Let Go (some of which were included on the 20 anniversary album) Daydream is the only one I can think of for UMS, TBDT I don’t think there are any, GL had those 3 instrumentals leak (full version of candy WHEN?) AL had the Chad song, and then there’s HAW and LS which have the most

they actually fixed it and it’s the first song showing on her page!! I initially found it by scrolling down to ‘singles & EPs’ and scrolled before country roads. So i mean it was there, it was just a chore to find. thank goodness they finally fixed it! tbh I think one reason this is so good is because Jack isn’t doing every single piece of the song. He has a lot of different people playing the instrumental and I think that really helps tbh. Ever since ocean I’ve realized jack songs are really good if there are more people involved

you can’t find it on apple, it’s not on her YouTube, and not a single person other than jack has posted about it, and it was only on his story. Rob didn’t even post about it, and he promo’d Charlie’s flop song. Plus, this isn’t a huge show like euphoria its a cute song, but were we really expecting a huge number?

I can’t with y’all asking why she isn’t pushing/promoting LTLI. Is it one of her best songs in years? YES. But she has never been one to push her popular songs (or songs in general)

I also have to agree with what everyone else here has been saying i really loved Love Sux because it finally felt like a return to form after HAW, but the album overall does feel kind of immature. I’m a mess (although I HATE the vocal production and can’t listen to it) is where I want her to go sonically. More mature lyrics and a more mature sound. She’s too old to be writing songs called Dick and talking about how she’s a princess. Like that was cute when she was in her early 20’s, now it’s just stale and sounds hella immature

bandaids is probably your best bet for leaked songs! Off the top of my head I know her duet with Chad leaked (their wedding song) and love sux has like 10 tracks that leaked. also a snippet of apparently a potential next album track leaked (I think it’s called ring from Tiffany or something like that)

it’s not a loss. It’s a full song that you can listen to and enjoy! I swear it’s so easy to clown the Lipsters Post announced his country album last year
