I agree 100% I think the reason he doesn’t want to talk about more music with Lana is because they really don’t have a plan. Mike said after WFWF he wanted to work with her more and never did, and the duo album with Nikki never saw the light of day

Daze Go By, by one of the producers she was working with this weekend, is a pretty chill sound. Wouldn’t necessarily want that as a Lana song, but it’s good to know they add some more spice than just piano and acoustic guitar

Well we know The Grants, DYKTTATUOB, Let The Light In, Peppers, and Taco Truck were (probably) the first ones written, because they were all done with Mike. After that, Lana and Jack (probably) started working together and that's where the other ones came. Candy Necklace and Margaret were two of the final ones written. I honestly have no idea what my expectations for LDRX are. I don't expect she'll venture too far off from her current sound, but some of the songs on Tunnel really shocked me production wise. She made comments that she was happy and excited to see what she wrote next so I'm hoping we get some more light/fun songs. I do hope she uses the production of her recent live shows for this album.

Glad she got rid of OTTR and Venice. They've both overstayed their welcome and we need a new closer. I feel like White Dress and TJF would both translate horridly live. White Dress has those high whispery vocals and TJF has the autotuned vocals. Neither are ideal for a live show, especially a festival. I do think she should play the guitar and sing NOTG instead of Yayo. Even just the chorus or something. But again, it wouldn't work in a festival environment. I expected from day 1 the set list to be a BTD + 'hits' setlist. So SYTH coming out a week before her show, and all the new confirmations aren't shocking me. I am worried she won't play Peppers, Fishtail, or Taco Truck though, if she really believes fans don't like the last 3 songs
