was just listening to this song. everything about her production style is so distinguishable, she really built a beautiful world of her own with her music.

She really deserved so much better, her influence and talent went so unappreciated. XCX World never got to see the light of day and her work with Gaga got scrapped because people weren’t ready to embrace her artistry, it’s sickening.

i just woke up and found out it was confirmed. god i just burst into tears, one of the most innovative people in music of our time, i remember listening to BIPP for the very first time and what a transcending experience that was. she means so much to me not only as an artist but as a trans person. oil of every pearls helped me so much at a time in my life when i was exploring and accepting my identity, i had never felt so seen by an artist. her legacy will live on.

unpop opinion but i hope she plays around with autotune more, that vocal effect used on her k-12 virtual show suits her well. also more vocals like the ones used in numbers

if her 3rd album follows the angels concept she talked about and it's mainly produced by K&OL and maybe some more hip-hop producers it'll be her magnum opus and we can pretend K-12 never happened

blue jeans is such an awkward song and it's hard to pin point why exactly lmao, i think maybe the chorus and the verses don't really go well together melodically idk something just feels off..

emile haynie ruined born to die. the production on that album is so overrated when lana's writing is really what makes it so unique imo, i always find myself listening to the demos over the final products. some of those samples are just so overused and songs like national anthem and TIWMUG feel like all the life and personality has been sucked out when you compare them to the demos.
