Babygirl demo gives that 80s vintage gay porn soundtrack vibe omg gold
  2. PS. Sorry for the grammar mistakes but im typing on an Italian phone lol
  3. I respect your opinion but I definetely don't agree on "the fans made It way deeper" part. It's music not political commentary trying to offer solutions, and you have to put the album in its time context. Yes, the political commentary may be not that deep, but I think the music does have to serve the function of conveying feelings and emoticons, not offering actual metacommentary. Like, in the greatest it's not like she's adressing real political situations, but she mentions them and that serves as the context, the scenario and Lana does convey the feeling of hopelessness and resignation that many of us feel in this time and age. When I listen to the greatest I feel like im watching the world burning and there's nothing I can do. This song does feel like funereal march for humanity and our culture and the search for simpler times when we were doing nothing. Idk to me the greatest is really a masterpiece and it taps right into generational anxiety about politics and climate change, and decadence in general.
  4. To me it feels like LFL was a transition between old Lana and new Lana. Born To Die, Ultraviolence and Honeymoon feel like a trilogy and Norman, Chemtrails and Blue Banisters feel like another and now it's completed. I don't have any predictions on sounds, lyrics or whatever. I just hope it's another change of pace., A new Trilogy so she can continue experimenting with new music and expanding her lore and catalogue
  5. Yeah Honeymoon would have been so much better ending with the epicness of The Blackest Day. The last three songs... drag the album and are not that good even tho I love 24
  6. I love the Ultraviolence songs but... They weigh on the album. While IYLDWM blends perfectly with the rest of the album, NOTG, L stretch the record purposeless and they differ sonically too. Idk WW -> Sweet Carolina would have been a finer transition It would have been more coherent with the story she was trying to tell at least imho. Maybe Cherry Blossom was fine?
  7. To me it was the leaking of Black Beauty, Hollywood, JFK and Starry Eyed. The songs were excellent and everybody was talking about them... BTD/Paradise era was coming to an end and we were all excited but also nervous about the new record and these songs, even if some were from previous sessions, gave us a glimpse of what Ultraviolence was going to reserve for all of us. Ah how I miss my teens
  8. Reserve all your energies and use them to manifest a special BTD Anniversary Edition that includes Hollywood you fools
  9. This feels the first proper album release since Norman Fucking Rockwell. This will be another critical success. I feel like old Lana is back.

What's the point of having the danciest tune on the record and drain the life outta It? Same goes with Alice, omg they are terrible.

At this point I think I will never understand Arca's music. She's often compared to Sophie but Sophie's songs go somewhere? Rain on me remix it's just... pointless, It doesnt make sense, it's just there. I'm not saying it's bad, im just saying it.. exists.

    M¥SS KETA

Still in time for a Charli XCX collab tho. Myss wrote a funny review for the Charli XCX concert in Milan and she has a lot of Sophie's and Charli's songs in her playlists on Spotify. Fingers Crossed. She's kinda our Charli XCX actually and she's up in line with many international hyperpop acts. Okay I'm fangirling.

    M¥SS KETA

"M¥SS FUCKING KETA IS A PERFORMER, RAPPER WITH A PUNK ATTITUDE, POP ICON AND DEFINITIVE DIVA. A TRUE GODDESS OF THE NIGHT THAT HYPES UP HER DEVOTEE THROUGH HER SACRILEGIOUS, EXCESSIVE AND RADICALLY HYPERREALISTIC WORDS. HER LIVE SHOWS ARE EXTRASENSORY EXPERIENCES, HER LYRICS THE X-RAY OF A NATION." "Myss Keta is the club kid whose songs are the feel-good jams you didn’t know you needed in your life. Sporadic, disorienting samples? Check. Infectious, bass thumping beats which leaves your head nodding long after the track has ended? Yes, you will experience a strong desire to crank up those subwoofers as soon as the bass kicks in. Tongue-twisting, Italian lyrics spat out at an indecipherable pace? You won’t understand a word this rapper is saying unless, of course, you’re fluent with the Italian language." Discography: Il Cielo non è un limite - 2020 Paprika - 2019 Una Vita in Capslock - 2018 Carpaccio Ghiacciato - 2017 L'angelo con l'occhiale da sera. Col cuore in gola - 2016

    Charli XCX

To me Charli is one of her best. Not like the mixtapes but right under. It's HIFN that felt like unnecessary to me and proposing the hyperpop sound again and again and again, although I love the songs on it. Charli was just the ending point of an era and I loved it.
