I think videos sort of just become secondary after a while, she's just making the music she wants to make (which is always best). I think she says "at the end of the day, I do it for me" in slight defense incase anybody does dislike things, but ultimately Honeymoon is definitely (at least from what I heard) the best vocal album of that year, the production is really great too. It's so cohesive but brings along more elements along the way, I love that album so much. Her voice is so amazing. Visuals can be a part of it all in the way of photoshoots too, like I think more of the Neil Krug UV shoots than the videos bc there's only so many things you can do in videos.

Sometimes it's hard to actually know if something is an unpopular opinion to be fair. Lots of these posts could be assumptions or based on like 1 or 2 opinions from one thread's page

This tbh, I still love her. Briefly hated on her bc of her "tarbaby" comment and the seemingly unprovoked fight with a bouncer, but still love her music. I kinda just want some new music from her asap. I know it's due to record label issues but tbh if I didn't know this I would probably think she's struggling to come up with material because we already had 212, HM&R, BBD, YR, CT & Luxury before the album and she seemed to have written most other songs a while before she finally was able to release them, so presumably if she's inspired she'll have lots of new music to share. Also, I called her dumb recently on here. I was just pressed ab her recent messiness tbh lol. always thought her comments people were "shocked" by were pretty spot on and HILARIOUS, some recent shit she did just seemed pretty awful tho. I'm over it

Agree with these besides Swan Song. It sounds better alone than it does in the full album, it's the only song that feels tiresome at that point imo. I also wish the "Dreaming away your life" section of HM didn't exist and it was just the hums bc it sounds more haunting that way (wish she'd have kept that static sound at the end too but ya )
