Except, the only source you have for this is metadata (which can easily be manipulated) and scribbles on a note book that can pretty much mean anything. We do know, however, that the film TROPICO (including Bel Air and Gods and Monsters) was already decided on in 2012 as per Lana herself. There is no solid evidence for any of this Tropico album nonsense. It's an urban myth.
-
It wasn't because shortly before that interview was released, the Bel Air visual dropped with the TROPICO film announcement and that was in 2012. I am still certain that the title "TROPICO" for the songs recorded at that time was a placeholder title because the songs she compiled for the record on that notebook may have tied in with the spiritual theme she had worked out for the film. She probably wanted the album to be somewhat of a continuation or elaboration on the story told in that film. A lot of the songs listed on that notebook have spiritual themes or deal with redemption in a way. I think she used that title because it best captured the vibe or the theme she had in mind for the then untitled second album.

If I'm being serious, I'd say that this is her most "scary" song from a studio album. - Body Electric - Carmen - Pretty When You Cry - Summer Bummer

Honeymoon. It’s scary how a song as terribly bad as this has managed to acquire any sort of following.
-
Love haters can suck it. Yes, it shouldn’t have been the opener but the song is still great and epic. It made grannies cry on those "Senior's listen to…" reaction videos.

Did someone seriously pull the race card on people claiming Azealia should be locked up in a mental facility? 💀💀💀 Gurl…this bitch has bit a bouncer in the boob, threatened to cut someone with a smashed wine glass at a dinner party and stabbed her own sister with a knife. This has absolutely nothing to do with race but simply with the physically violent behavior she has exhibited in addition to the stuff she writes online that showcases her mental state. Aside from that, she supports racists (Donald Trump), Nazis (Kanye West) and white people more than a lot of black people. Overall, she roots for anyone who is as equally insane as her.

You say THIS when Honeymoon is sitting at the top of your ranking????

Oh damn… But this brought me to an interesting question: Do you think it would have ever gotten this popular had it been released regularly back in 2014 or 2015? I think the fact that it was an unreleased song made it so popular in the first place but it would have stayed overlooked had it been released in the past.

This song did NOT deserve a video and the massive floppage continues to prove it.
-
True but she literally said she wasn’t promoting OB because she didn’t want to take any attention away from her father's album…which quite honestly isn’t particularly great. 💀

I would have taken a video for A&W over this…sorry.

The one that has been released IS the UV version. There are no versions of this song that were produced by Dan A. This is the final Rick Nowels version. James Ford did an alternate version of it but that, along with his version of Fine China weren’t considered for the final tracklist. Rick's original version of SYTH and FC almost made the cut on UV. They were both mastered by Rob Orton but discarded at the very last minute in favor of other songs. Want people to watch her videos more? Male videos for good songs and not the most boring ones on the album.

Rank Lana's “never performed” songs.

She most definitely hasn’t performed Bel Air ever. It’s literally my most wanted song for her to perform live. I would know if she had already performed it. https://www.setlist.fm/stats/lana-del-rey-13d391fd.html -

No she hasn’t. Yes but we don’t count a capella snippets, as stated in the OP. -

Well, she definitely picked the wrong ones. She only did a very small portion of A&W. She really should have left off The Grants in favor of Fishtail & Peppers. NFR or Bartender could have been replaced by FILY, The Greatest or Grandfather. The slow OB songs just don't work for live settings. I think if she really wanted to do a somewhat high energy/crowd pleasing song selection, this would be it: National Anthem Summertime Sadness Video Games Ride Off to the Races // Cola Young & Beautiful Summer Bummer / High By the Beach Art Deco // Salvatore // The Blackest Day Cherry The Greatest Fuck It I Love You / Cinnamon Girl White Dress Chemtrails Over The Country Club Tulsa Jesus Freak // Black Bathing Suit Thunder A&W Peppers Fishtail Taco Truck / Venice Bitch Grandfather Ocean Blvd Candy Necklace Say Yes to Heaven / = Medley // = Alternate Song Choices -

I’ve been wanting Flipside live ever since Blake teased the studio version of this live version in 2015 on IG only for it to never appear on tour (until now). -
So, with the performance debut of Flipside I was thinking of other songs waiting for a proper live debut and what everyone thinks are the ones that should be next in line and which ones can stay unperformed. Note: I’m not counting A Cappella snippets or singalongs from release parties or so. I would personally exclude anything from COCC, BB & OB for now because there is still a chance they will be performed when a proper tour is announced (Interludes are also not included). But I will add them to the list if anyone feels like including them. This Is What Makes Us Girls Lucky Ones Bel Air Sad Girl The Other Woman Guns & Roses Is This Happiness Big Eyes I Can Fly Wait for Life Art Deco God Knows I Tried Religion 24 The Blackest Day Swan Song Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood Summer Bummer In My Feelings Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind Beautiful People Tomorrow Never Came Heroin You Must Love Me Fuck It, I Love You Love Song California The Next Best American Record Happiness Is a Butterfly The Greatest Season of the Witch Looking for America ———————————— White Dress Chemtrails Over the Country Club Tulsa Jesus Freak Wild At Heart Dark But Just a Game Not All Who Wander Are Lost Yosemite Breaking Up Slowly Dance Till We Die Summertime - The Gershwin Version You'll Never Walk Alone Text Book Blue Banisters Black Bathing Suit If You Lie Down With Me Beautiful Violets for Roses Dealer Thunder Wildflower Wildfire Nectar of the Gods Living Legend Cherry Blossom Sweet Carolina Sweet Kintsugi Fingertips Paris, Texas Grandfather, please stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep-sea fishing Let The Light In Fishtail Peppers Say Yes to Heaven

Or some of the "singles" she has yet to perform live like Fuck It I Love You, The Greatest…even Bel Air which is like 1/3 tracks to have never been performed live out of the entirety of BTD/P. -

Some nice suprises on the setlist! FUCKING FLIPSIDE FINALLY!!! A lot of duds but the overall production, the renditions, and backdrop imagery have me fucking SHOOK! Lana doing costume changes…are you kidding me?! While there are still a few things I would change, it’s still such a massive improvement to her last few shows.
