I think this was lowkey blown out of proportion, the idea was okay, but it was terribly executed, I don't think they intended for it to look like the "privileged white girl" was saving the world, but rather showing how everyone coming together can contribute to a greater good, maybe if they had switched it and had the girl wearing a hijab giving giving it a "closure" it wouldn't have been so controversial.
