It's so weird to me that she has instagram, I always thought it was part of her vision to have a sort of vintage-y fame, like Sinatra and idk, Rita Hayworth or whatever, like... being famous in an almost untouchable way, and not that people don't write about you (people wrote crap about celebrities in the 50's too so) but that you don't expose who you are completely and people don't have direct access to you and that you have an air of mystery around you which isn't common anymore since most celebrities are aiming for the down-to-earth, "I'm just like my fans, my fans are family <3333" image. This is probably nothing but I was thinking about it last night; in Butterflies pt 2 she sings "He puts on “Lola” by The Kinks and he dances ‘round" and if you listen to Lola the hook in the song is "la-la-la-la Lola la-la-la-la Lola" which sort of reminds me of the "ah-ah-ah-ah..." bit in Dark Paradise. They don't sound the same but there is something similar to it (which might just be me really wanting them to be similar), and before that part she sings "I'm lying in the ocean, singing your song.... ah-ah... that's how you sang it", and that she says "that's how you sang it" insinuates that he sang it differently from the actual version.
