    well she looks gorgeous :rip:celebrity has warped her sense of importance as it has just about everyone who has ever been wrung through the celebrity machine like she has (truly, what anyone other than her friends and family think of her is none of her business, clearly her fans adore her [even when they acknowledge she says dumb shit] and for her own ability to lead a safe and sane life she doesn't need to know anything more).

     

    and the narcicissm thing, and her constantly being like "I KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON I'M IN TUNED IN" is soooo tiring. as someone who has studied the history of power, race, class, and gender in the U.S. for the past two decades i can tell you it's not narcissism that's fueling the current hellscape in the US but go off i guess. 

     

    edit to say the jokes on me cuz i adore her art and she remains important to me, obvs. keep the music and poems coming!

    obviously based on purely on what i've heard so far plus how much i like the unheard songs' titles/whatever lana has said about them. i also imagine that i will love or at least really like most of the songs (with the exception of maybe 1-2 songs each album that i don't care for and skip). for free is only last because it's a cover and i'm always most excited to hear her original songs (even though "the other woman" is top tier lana for me). based on live snippets of BUS i'm gonna LOVE it, same goes for the description of WD lana gave in interview.

    Because at this point, the Neil cover could be considered just an alternate cover because it is sold at several select retailers, so UO may not consider it exclusive to them cover-wise, just exclusive to them vinyl colour-wise. 

     

    yeah i'm thinking itll be the neil cover w pastel green vinyl– which would be perfect!

    i remember watching this live on mtv (i was a rabid courtney love/hole fan), it was absolutely incredible. courtney has had some absolutely cuckoo interviews over the past few decades (she once hosted mtv for like 24hrs straight, it was nuts) though seems to be sober/chiller now. to keep this on topic, i hated lana's interview w annie mac and hope to god that whenever print interviews come out they focus on the music, about which she actually has interesting things to say.
