This album was never gonna do great imo post QFTC, but it’s also so much better received (at least here) now than it was at the time, these songs are growers. Kacey’s new album deeper well is kind of her COCC, similar warmth and questions about life and personal growth

i love the album– perfect pisces season record, mellow & thoughtful & melancholy, very folky. favorites after a few listens: cardinal, dinner with friends, giver/taker, heart of the woods. beyond excited to be going to the record release show in nashville tomorrow & her record signging saturday?!! 2024 will not stop going off...
