I really hope y'all are right but just the vibe she's been giving I'm not hopeful that she is doing anything beyond what's already listed.

I'm pretty bummed that there are apparently no more dates to the Neon Nature tour. I thought she was touring all of this year so I was sure she'd come back to the US so I didn't try and travel to see her last year. It looks like I either make a trip to Europe or I don't ever see her live because I'm pretty sure she wants to be done with music after this. I wish she hadn't skipped all of the towns within 300 miles of me..

I actually didn't know about the mellotron and the picture of her with the keys lol. Maybe you are right though, maybe another instrument would be more inspiration.

I was pretty sure she played guitar? I know she doesn't play any instruments on stage but she still possibly knows how to play some and we just not know. I know in one of the articles pre-Honeymoon she said she brought one of the producers songs she had "composed" which I would assume meant lyrics and melodies/chords. I don't know for sure though!

I wonder how she feels about it now that Cyndi Lauper herself has said she likes it. I know Marina probably still isn't too happy it got out there but I'm sure it means something to her that Cyndi took notice. Its beautiful obviously but especially after the Froot leak I just wish her boundaries were more respected.

How did Lana support herself while in NYC before she got big? I couldn't imagine trying to support myself alone in NYC and buying studio time, costumes for videos, etc. while still having time to pursue music like that.

Its definitely the record. The whole rest of the album plus every other vinyl I own plays fine. There's a visible weird "spot" on the side where its skipping so I'm pretty sure thats it.

It just takes up so much space and I don't really use any of it except the vinyls. I'm also still considering moving far away and it would be too much useless stuff to take with me + could use the money. I'm not 100% sure I'm doing it though.

Here it is, updated. What might interest you guys more is that my whole collection minus the album vinyls might be for sale soon. If anyone might be interested in anything or several things let me know. I haven't decided yet if I will really sell it all but know that the Paradise box set will be the last thing for sale since I might offer it back to the person who sold it to me first. If I decide to sell my Lana stuff I will also have a few other alt pop artist items for sale.

So when are the Cry Baby picture vinyls supposed to ship? I remember it was sometime in November but we are getting close to the end of November and I haven't heard anything...

We need to be friends I've never understood why people hate Brite Lites. Repeating phrases like "I look for you in magazines", "give me the bright lights", "the film is fading, look at me" etc. just shows the obsession with the man and the fame that was a very prevalent part of her life back then. I think its genius but so many people don't like it. I think the production really makes the song too with the guy in the background and the beats popping in just at the right time and when it pauses to draw suspense. God now I want to listen to AKA again like crazy. Oh and I love Paradise too. It and AKA are my favorites, followed closely by Honeymoon.

I feel bad for it but this is one of the first Lana songs ever that I couldn't even get through one listen of I'll try again in a few days, sometimes they take warming up to...

That blank plastic stare with no personality behind it and lyrics/aesthetic that reek of Lana and I'm sure a list of others...

I want to see! I've got some coming in the mail and HM box set is so close to shipping so I'm going to wait a while. I've gotten a ton of non-Lana recently, most just Marina stuff since the new vinyls came out. Im actively searching for Lana stuff again though and I'm really not too terribly far off from having everything I want to collect

I'm really curious to see the Honeymoon pages in the book. I hope they decide to go back and fix the UV ones one day.

The picture doesn't quite do it justice but you get the gist. It literally is highlighter pink and it clashes kind of hard with the label, as you can tell both are the same color. Let me know if you want more pics!

Well I got my TFJ and EH vinyls today! TFJ is everything I hoped it would be. Its beautiful, no skips or surface noise, and now I have one of my favorite albums on the elusive vinyl! I found only one minor detail where you can differentiate the repress from the original, but I don't care about that. I just want to play it and now I can. It had a weird spot on the back near the label but doesn't seem to affect the sound so I'm not going to worry about it. The EH vinyl is nice, seeing the front and back in such larger proportions made it look a little strange at first. The gatefold is very nice although I wish they hadn't used the weird filter they use on the cover on the picture of her with the bubble gum. My biggest complain is with the color of the vinyl. It is bright neon pink. I was more hoping for a pink along the lines of the pink side of Dollhouse but I suppose there's been a lot of pink vinyl lately (Dollhouse, Badlands, etc) she probably wanted something that really popped. I guess it fits the album but its really not too great to look at or put on display. I do enjoy having another Marina item I didn't have before though, and I am overall very happy with it. Only other complaint is the tracklist but all I would change is adding Living Dead, LHC, BTS, and taking out HTBAH. I also got Froot a week ago and love it. I got the black one because I actually liked the way it looked with the black label more. Its so much easier to play than my temperamental box set where I have to flip and change every 4 minutes.
