Unpopular opinion: she should’ve kept “Is It Over Now?” in the vault just so it could’ve been the closing track to TTPD. It lyrical flows so well with the story arc and if the album started with “I was supposed to be sent away but they forgot to come and get me” and ended with “I was hoping you’d be there, and say the one thing, I’d been wanting, but no” it would’ve been such a serve. I always play it after listening to the standard album and it sounds like waking up from a bad dream.

Agree with @NikoGo that I wouldn’t look to her using a certain aesthetic to signify an album era, but rather just because she thinks it’s cute. I’m so excited for this video!!! While the snippet wasn’t doing much for me, I’m hoping the rest of the song gives cvnty country vibes. I also hope she releases this in time for the summer bc it’s time we had a proper Lana summer like we did in 2017/2019
