Idk if I’m just being nostalgic for the songs of my childhood, but I’ve been obsessively craving Born This Way so much. I remember that summer that the album came out, my dad took me and my little sister to our local pride parade (I was 11!) and it meant to so much to me even then 🤧

The box set is a need. Why do vinyl box sets not get made anymore? The UV one and Gaga’s BTW one were elite.

Listening to TTPD on vinyl front to back and it's just banger after banger I genuinely think this is top 3 in her discography when looked at as a whole work. Up there with 1989 and folklore in both it's storytelling and it's soundscape

I don’t think Chuck and the friends she had with her are anywhere nearly as recognizable as THEE Lana Del Rey

Idk it doesn’t make me happy seeing her so angry, even in the context of her “putting them in their place”. I don’t even walk around Paris anymore bc it’s full of weirdos and I’ve been followed multiple times and have had to duck into cafes/shops to get rid of them (albeit, much more common when I’m alone late at night than in broad daylight). I think this entire situation should’ve been avoided - and like she said - she’s technically working all summer so her record label should be spending every penny they’re making off her to keep her safe and avoid situations like this.

I cringed at that part ngl. These ppl have no right they were so clearly pushing her buttons. I’m so sad her privacy was invaded and they had to be yelled at to respect her. I don’t know why she refuses to just get a security guard who would do the yelling for her. While I think she’s absolutely justified in what she did here, she shouldn’t even need to

I REALLY liked “So I”, but I couldn’t get thru the rest of the songs unfortunately. Electronic music just isn’t my thing I guess, it gives me a headache.

Idk when it became cool to pretended like you’re not ambitious or don’t care about success. I wonder if everyone dragging Taylor for being chart/power hungry in this thread also lack drive and ambition in their own professional lives
