  1. nothing imo. There’s nothing to be said. Him addressing the nation doesn’t do anything at this point other than fulfill some ceremonial desire to seem like he’s in charge.
  2. I mean…he’s not really gonna say anything that matters much at this point. I think his campaign is probably scrambling behind the scenes bc they realized they just lost the election, and other countries know it too - essentially making Biden a lame duck for the next 6 months. He’s gonna come out, renounce political violence, maybe wish Trump well, and repeat what the FBI said. If he remembers everyone’s names and doesn’t wish “Bill Clinton a speedy recovery”, that’s a job well done.
  3. Not motivating, but it’s for sure a catalyst.
  4. What the hell lmao the last paragraph 💀💀💀 ^^^
  5. there are some really sick people on the internet...
  6. He's gonna say he died and saw God in a few weeks fr fr
  7. no omg not at all. I am just very aware that, as horrific as this event and the loss of innocent life is, Trump is going to milk it to heaven and back. I really do hope he actually considers the slain victims here, who were completely innocent and only trying to attend a rally, and he doesn't make himself into some RFK/JFK/Reagan figure...but I have a feeling we're gonna see Trump billboards like this pop up soon 💀

    Chappell Roan

I think she and her team were testing waters and putting out singles to see if something would stick, and as luck would have it, the first thing they put out blew up - so now they're probably scrambling a bit to launch a proper era! I cannot WAIT. Need more music from her
  9. this was me questioning trumps version of the events, not your retelling omg lol
  10. you’re right, LanaBoards user/alleged insider @Wait For Life I apologizing for daring to question whether a bullet actually hit your beloved leader.
  11. Ermmmmm I don’t want to minimize this horrific event, but idk about that. If a rifle actually shot him in the ear his head would’ve exploded. The glass theory makes more sense. Even a grazing would’ve caused a chunk of his ear to fall off. “shot at” sure, that’s undeniable. But “shot” is very different.
  12. I said this in another thread about him, Trump's most prevalent quality is that he has been completely ineffective (as has Biden). He failed to really get anything accomplished during his first 4 years, even with a Republican Congress and Senate [failed to repeal Obamacare, failed to bring any fundamental change to govt. structure, grew the deficit by a HUGE amount]. He signed a bunch of executive orders, that were quickly undone once he was gone. I see his second term going much of the same. By some horrible fluke, however, he will appoint the majority of the Supreme Court - which will be his only legacy to last after his terms.
  13. From what I've pieced together from various news reports, it seems that the assailant was shot at right before/as he took his shot - leading to a frenzy of gunshots in random directions.
  14. oh idk if this is too soon but it’s definitely gonna be spun as a “thank god there was a good guy with a gun there to kill the bad guy with the gun” sort of thing.

I did not like the Chaparelle song...I wish we would just get a solo record
  16. This exactly. “Rights” will always be dangled in front of us every election cycle, and they will be “taken away” and given back and rinsed and repeated until end times (also congress codified gay marriage, if that’s a main concern). At the end of the day, the American Govt. benefits the shareholders of the DOW J and S&P, and all else is just a charade. I don’t think that excuses any of it, and I still think that either way, minorities get the short end of the stick constantly and that’s horrible, but the US is a corporation at this point.
  17. One person was killed. Rest in peace, politics isn’t worth dying for in such a way. Ok so this actually happened Hope everyone is safe and future Trump rallies (and others) are able to be held in a safe manner - including next week’s RNC.
  18. The only reason, imo, that they should keep Biden is because I honestly think this election is a done deal at this point. Might as well save any decent candidates (Harris, Michelle Obama, Whitmer, Newsom) for 2028 and not waste them on a battle already lost
  19. 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
  20. Both would likely lose. As will Biden, and pretty much any Democrat that replaces him at this point. Michelle does have the slightly better chance though.
  21. They might as well hand him the keys to the White House today the election is over.
  22. that’s kinda the definition of click bait. Not incorrect, but missing important context 💀
  23. This thread title is written like (fuck the) NY Post click bait
