Totally! However, with all of the talk about Lana’s collabs being atypical/less pronounced, I’m curious how a Lana-centered collab between them will sound!

I honestly have a hard time imagining how Lana x Bleachers would even sound? I’m still very open to the track, but imagining the two together is strange! Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised lol

The opener being full and gorgeous…A&W being 7+ minutes…more 5+ minute songs..what a time to be alive

It’s really interesting reflecting on Lana’s W Magazine interview with a clearer idea about the record. She discussed her difficulty in generating new ideas outside of the studio in terms of writing, yet she closed out the interview with a statement about how she cannot help but write. It reminds me of her description of NFR’s creation (iirc) where she talked about having writer’s block, and yet she churned out her most critically acclaimed record—which also happened to be her favorite album excluding Violet. What she’s done lyrically with TUOB is seriously impressive, so it looks like maybe she’s back chasing her lyrical muse after all (which might explain the seemingly contradictory set of statements)! So excited!

Is her music still listed in the ASCAP search? I don’t exactly know how it works, but I think people have found her upcoming music there before?

I’m so, so glad you liked it—it really means a lot! After I made the quiz, I had a couple guesses for who would get what, and I had a feeling you’d get that one! The only others I’ve gotten right out of the few guesses are @the ocean and @lanadelrey Icons!

As much as I would be thrilled for the idea, I really don’t think HM x UV is the sound..especially when a reliable insider (BoZ) dispelled the rumors…alongside us already hearing a single
