  1. I was just about to say this same thing... Although I'd probably prefer if she went down a more experimental A&W kind of route, I wouldn't mind a country album. Some of her songs already have a country influence, like the sliding guitars on Paradise, which I love. I do enjoy some country music, as long as it's not the boring pop-ified modern country, and I couldn't see Lana making music like that, so... Sad Girl also sounds really western to me I do admit I grew up listening to country music so I might have a sentimental bias but I digress

  5. I saw Thom Yorke in a grocery store in LA today. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn't want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, "Oh, like you're doing now?" I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but he kept cutting me off and going "huh? huh? huh?" and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw Thom trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually "to prevent any electrical infetterence," and then turned around and winked at me. I don't even think that's a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
  6. I guess this is the right place to post this? I don't know if this is general knowledge but today I discovered that the fourth demo of Lolita seems to be sampled from this song: Where did she even find this random dutch band ???
  7. She's always singing about Florida but she never comes here! Don't forget me...
  8. This girl did not just say Influences: Nirvana, Britney Spears, Coney Island, Pretty things, Motorcycles, David Lee Roth, Your Mom
  9. I don't know if someone else has already said this, but wow, her new drummer for this tour really does not play around
  10. She's such a lyrical genius, but right now my favorite lyrics of hers are from Love - Look at you kids with your vintage music Comin' through satellites while cruisin' You're part of the past, but now you're the future Signals crossing can get confusing Look at you kids, you know you're the coolest The world is yours and you can't refuse it Seen so much, you could get the blues But that don't mean that you should abuse it Though it's enough just to make you go crazy, crazy, crazy I know, it's enough just to make you go crazy, crazy, crazy I get ready, I get all dressed up To go nowhere in particular It doesn't matter if I'm not enough For the future or the things to come 'Cause I'm young and in love I'm young and in love Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby They're just so comforting to me
  11. Her "husband"? Nah her being married was something that was just kinda known, I don't remember seeing anybody but her and her family/friends
  12. I haven't remembered a Lana dream in so long, so why not... I was at this amphitheater near a dock and Lana was there with her family and friends and at first I didn't even notice she was there but when I did I was like, "Oh my god, hi Lana, when are you supposed to be here?" and she was like, "at 5:30", (it was before 5:30 in the dream) and I was like "I couldn't see you but now you're just here, so-" and then she smiled and walked away Then I picked up this newspaper and it was showing how she started and where she is currently and it had a bunch of pictures of her Lizzy Grant era and I was like "I have to have this", so I took it, and then I went to the boat and the boat was covered in cds and then Wild at Heart started playing out of nowhere like I was in a movie and that was the soundtrack Also I think in the dream it was just casually mentioned that she was married??
  13. Cruel World or The Blackest Day...or anything from Honeymoon, really

  15. I've literally been thinking this for so long, you are so right (I am a massive Radiohead fan as well as a massive Lana fan) There are actually a good amount of connections you could make between them
