She announced the "real lead singles" from the past 2 albums some weeks ahead but the first songs were released out of the blue (I know she revealed LMLYLAW on the bts video of the title track but I think she officially announced like 2 days before release right? So I think we could be getting a surprise soon

I don't think it would match at all the sound I expect for LDR9 but I need one of the many versions of On Our Way to be released (at least reuse the chorus Lana it's so good ) I'm also curious about how the final version of Hollywood sounds like I'd prefer all unheard material tho (unless the songs don't take the place of a new track and are just added in)

I wonder if we're getting a TV performance this time now that they are not pre recorded anymore (at least not in a "music video" way like they were during the pandemic). Our last live performance was that livestream with Jack in 2020 I think (and well the random ones with Nikki on bars I guess)

I'm truly clueless about what's coming at this point. Her description sounded like we were getting confessional piano tracks, but then she said she was angry and she also mentioned the orchestra (plus that thing about country) which are not mutually exclusive things but it's all so vague that we can't really get anything significative out of it.

Do we actually expect something in September? I don't think we're getting anything in the very first day but I do think that she's starting the era in a couple of weeks (at least with a more official teaser or an announcement). Even if the album is not fully done I wouldn't mind a taste of it and since this pre release is going smoothly without fake dates and such I don't think the wait for the album would be so tedious this time. Chemtrails was kinda messy because of the delays and fake dates cause the actual rollout wasn't that bad (LMLYLAW in October, preorder announcement in December with a nice teaser, title track in January and the final single with the album in March).

I'd love it the jack thing was for Lana but I think he's just playing around with whatever that device is and he's excited (and the hell part is about the sound) I have to say Hell on Earth would be a really cool title considering the "heaven is a place on earth with you" lyric

My only complaint about it is that while I love Weyes and Zella I'd prefer if Lana was singing the whole time and they only did some harmonies... but I guess it was cute and made sense to had them there after singing it on tour various times together

Well... considering she ignored BTD's 10th anniversary I'm not sure about that

I don't really want collabs but if I had to choose I guess I'd want FJM, Abel and Miles Kane and/or Alex Turner... but now that I think about it I do want her and Alex to sing together

While Paradise is technically an EP it's almost 40 minutes long (longer than some full albums in the streaming era ) and even though it was also BTDs reedition it has a really distinct sound and aesthetic (other than the cover being from Blue Jeans ). I don't count AKA either (that's Lizzy) or Violet (cause it's an audiobook) so for me the next studio album is LDR9. LDR10 as her tenth "officially Lana" project tho

Vinyl delays make the timeline of her albums confusing. We had 2 albums in 2021 but Chemtrails was supposed to come out in the fall of 2020 and BB is not even a year old but it was finished in June/July so she's been working on LDR9/X for at least a year now (or even more considering she always starts her albums before finishing the current one). She also wrote and teased BBS a whole year before even releasing Chemtrails so we'll never know with Lana . It was probably just a rough concept but it shows how she's always writing even if it's not meant for the next thing. Our prolific queen

Well... I think I have bad news What Neil was teasing may be related to Weyes Blood cause she's releasing soon and he liked her tweet teasing a new era (and he doesn't usually use twitter) I don't think they have worked together before but she was on the Chemtrails photoshoot... so they definitely know each other. Love her but I hope he's just showing support and it's for Lana cause I'm thirsty

We always get some unreleased tracks around the time she starts her album cycles so I wonder what will leak this time They are also usually pretty iconic songs... even though I'm not manifesting it cause I feel bad for miss Lana (but it's bound to happen again)
