I don't think we are getting any leaked tracks on LDR9 cause I think the unreleased tracks on BB were a bit of a "filler" but not in the usual sense of the word. She wanted to address some things (and she wanted do it quickly so she announced RCS) but she didn't have enough songs for an album so she added some old tracks that she loved and kinda made sense to explain "where she was then". Then she wrote some more songs (10-11 would be enough for a LP) but didn't want to abandon the idea of the unreleased tracks so that's why she swapped them around and ended up releasing them anyway. I can see some old outtake making the cut tho but probably something that we haven't heard like LYTAN (or the elusive Crazy For You ). It's a tradition at this point

My guess is that they're doing the final steps of some songs (maybe mastering and mixing stuff) and Rob wanted to see and spend some time in the UK. Why in London? That's the weird thing. Maybe she worked with some British producer or they are just remastering some old outtake and that's why they don't need to be together in the studio

They could just release it on their own without a label using Lana's connections with producers and their teams. His little indie moment

The wooden floor "pattern" is pretty characteristic but I haven't found anything searching her usual britsh producers (+ audio engineers that work with them)

Yes you are right I forgot we're just halfway through the year . I feel like 4 months until the album would still be technically "soon" (by Ben's words) considering it would be exactly 1 year after the last one

Maybe she's working with yet another producer for the album or they are just mastering some of the songs in London for some reason and Rob's there cause he didn’t have anything better to do and wanted to learn about the process or something Alex Turner and Miles Kane are UK based so maybe we are getting another TSLP outtake I have to do my research to see if I can find who's that man in the picture Edit: I've checked Dealer, Thunder and California's full credits and stalked every man that did something audio engineering related and couldn't find the man in the picture (him facing away from the camera doesn't help) And before you ask... yes I have a lot of free time today

I'm starting to think he's actually releasing his own album If not... LDR9 is not coming this year Does anybody recognize the producer or whoever that is?

I have a similar thought but kinda opposite. I feel like some people don't rank BTD (and specially Summertime Sadness) higher on their lists so they don't look like fake fans or locals

Speaking on the unreleased songs ending up on future albums (LDR9 as an example so this is not off topic ) I wish she would rather: - Re-release the albums with a couple of outtakes on a special date (for example the 5th or 10th anniversary). If it didn't happen for BTD I don't see it happening at all tho. - Put out the Unreleased Collection with 20 of her favorite songs and then 5 of the "viral" ones so the label is happy too and lets her do it. - Just use some parts of the songs as a starting point for a new track or heavily rework it so it sounds fresh. From a fan point of view I wish she changed every unreleased song from now on (if she's still putting them in her records) but from the artist's side if the song leaked as it was supposed to be on their respective album I get why she wouldn't want to change it (cause it was already the version she liked). Maybe slightly altering so it fits the album would be a nice middle ground (like Thunder for example even though I don't think we have confirmation that she changed it for BB and maybe it was just another version that didn't leak )

Rob is in the UK . I wonder if Lana is with him. She's really doing a (non musical) world tour if that's the case Italy reminds me of HM and the UK of BTD (maybe cause she was a lot in Europe during its promotion) so I take this as a (delusional) clue of LDR9 being cinematic and dreamy . I don't care if she's not even there and Rob went just to catch some english sharks or whatever

White Dress aged so well... I loved it when I first heard it (even though the vocals threw me off a bit) but it gets even better with each listen

Lana went from spoiling half of NFR to not even posting a single snippet while Rob and Ben are teasing all the time something imminent I'm sure Lana is not against them teasing but it's weird that she doesn't want to reveal anything yet (not even the album title, which we usually get very early in her album cycles). She always announces things on a whim anywhere she can (in a random concert, in a tweet about a leaked song, in a interview, in a screenshot of an interview while defending herself and claiming revenge... ). There has to be a reason for this secretive behavior

This is the worst part of the pre releases cause we don't have a date to look forward to nor new details to speculate. We know something is coming but I think we made every possible theory and guess already I hope we get actual news soon cause teasing is only fun the first day for the excitement of it but it gets boring very fast if it has no substance Not having insiders spoil things 2 weeks beforehand is both a blessing and a curse

She needs to put out a full on rock album (but not the pop punk "rock" that everyone is doing lately). I still pray for a full album produced by Zach Dawes (and I also need a collab with Alex Turner so basically the lost TLSP album )

We're almost halfway through June and I'm starting to think the single is not coming this month (unless she pulls another surprise release or announces it the day before) Maybe on her birthday tho

She said something about doing an "album trailer of trailers" or something like that with Rich Lee and it's Lana... she could probably release Video Games as a single again if she gets bored

It must be for something. Chuck was recording it but as far as I know neither her or Lana posted it from their pov (only the other fan who was a bit further away that also recorded it). If I'm delusional it's for the album trailer. If I'm not delusional it was probably a random video she wanted but didn't post cause she didn't like enough for some reason (even though she was killing the vocals)
