I still think (and always will) that Neil is the best for Lana but looking at other shots she did for magazines and stuff, I'm not against her working with other people (that are not Neil or her siblings). Imagine the OG witchy vibes of LFL with Steven photos . Nadia Lee's work is like BTD on crack (and I say this as a compliment) so it would really match the "revenge of Lana Del Rey" aesthetics we are manifesting (or at least some of us delulus are). At this point all I ask for is a professional photoshoot with a clear aesthetic cause we still have no idea (other than the selfies) of what this album's visuals are. I still have hope for big things cause she followed Nadia and Colin Tilley and she usually does that when working with someone new. She met Mike way before working with him and only followed him recently so... I'm almost sure it means something

Chemtrails stuff on sale, her store closed and everything moved to LDR village are signs that something is coming soon. But I'm done manifesting announcements. If the preoder doesn't come before Monday there's no sense in doing a preorder at all so maybe it will be released with no word on the 4th. What boz said worries me cause I was sure he had the real release date so if nothing changed maybe it's because not even them have the release date

I don't think it's entirely about age. She already said in 2011 or 2012 that she just writes and makes music for herself cause that's what she loves. She's always been like this but at the start of her career (at least the mainstream start) her label had a lot more control over her than now. The amazing visuals from BTD (+ Paradise) were a mixture of Lana's amazing vision and her label making her pump out MVs. I'm sure she was like "if they are making me film 7 videos let's make them good". It all changed with UV when she took almost full control (or even since Tropico cause it's amazing visually but I'm sure her label would have preferred a short standard MV than a 30 min short film). Then she started the trend of releasing the most accesible songs from the albums as lead singles (WC and HBTB) and now she just releases whatever she wants with a "big" MV for her favorite song(s) and that's it. I think it's just the natural progression of an artist slowly getting full control over their art and career even while signed to a big label. But don't get me wrong, early Lana was still Lana she wasn't this manufactured product people think. It's just that she made the best out of her label obligations.

In Clay's IG stories looks like they are filming something . It's reposted from some random musician so maybe it's for him but he's behind the scenes cause he's the one filming the story so who knows

I don't think the album is coming on the 4th but maybe Friday 2nd? She can reveal the cover and tracklist today with the preorder coming tomorrow just a week before release

I love them as they are but what if they reworked a bit the singles to fit the album's new sound? (even though we don't even know what's the album's sound )

This album is probably going to be longer than Chemtrails cause the 3 singles (and even the version of Thunder we got) are almost 5 minutes each. In terms of tracks I also hope it has more than Chemtrails. She probably recorded a lot of songs so let's pray for at least 14 tracks

She has to really love that 2017 session if she keeps putting songs from that on her albums. It's a pity it wasn't released as a collab album but maybe we'll hear them all eventually. Manifesting Under Your Skin in LDR9 and Dope in LDR10

Maybe she learnt from Chemtrails and instead of releasing an album because she had songs done she is releasing the album she really wants this time and that's why she scrapped the first songs she had. And I say this as a Chemtrails stan but it's so clear that she had enough songs for an album last year and was like "ok fuck it, let's release this and move on" cause I'm sure Chemtrails was not the album she had in mind when she posted qftc. The delays didn't help either

The fact that she scrapped songs instead of just adding the new ones means that she either had a ton of new songs or a clear vision/concept she wants to achieve with this album (or maybe both) so I'm very excited but we need some kind of news about the record

We need at least 14 tracks this time. Chemtrails felt a bit short and it's good cause it's a mood album but I need a +1h long Lana album right now .

My heart always skips a beat whenever she posts something I should have expected more birthday posts but I was really hoping for the album announcement not gonna lie . Still happy to see her having fun and being so cute tho

What if Thunder is the title track?

I think when she did WW she also did some more songs with Mike but for the next album (or maybe WW was also meant for the next one) and then happened what you just said that she decided to use the Mike songs for this album. But if she started working on more songs with Mike after finishing WW I don't know how can we avoid a delay. So I hope the change of direction happened some months ago already and all is set to release soon. I think he knew what he was doing this time but had to clarify it for the future so people don't get crazy over random lyrics

I'm almost sure she's going to change Thunder cause she changed TNBAR, BPBP and even Black Beauty (from the demo that leaked) when they were put on their albums. We don't know if she changed Yosemite from the LFL version but probably not cause it's only Rick and her in the credits. I just hope she doesn't strip back the song tho the drums and backing vocals are so nice

I was trying to shazam Thunder and nothing happened but I realized that they wiped off every Thunder video from YouTube and all that's left are videos uploaded less than a week ago . I mean it's probably nothing cause some of her unreleased songs get blocked all the time but I find it interesting that they erased all the Thunder videos just when we got new info last week. Maybe they have indeed the preorder and everything prepared
