No I'm not blaming you solely for the thread lock, but I do think you (by your own words, dramatically) announcing your break raised the tension and is part of what lead to more drama. I don't really know what to say about the rest of what you said, but if the reasoning for your "break" from the site was because you don't enjoy seeing Taylor criticised and don't want to argue about her anymore, then you shouldn't come back within less than a week to immediately start defending her on a supposed "echo chamber of anger and hate thread" about her. And we do have threads for other famous peoples' controversies, as this is a discussion forum. It's not just a Taylor thing. Examples:

Well, it's not like Taylor is much better than that. I usually wouldn't encourage vandalism of others' property, although it's hard for me to feel sympathy for her private jet being "vandalised" when the jet in question is constantly used to "vandalise" the planet.

Scooter Braun legally owned it. But aside from that - sure, it's a different situation, but the point was that Taylor herself is absolutely shameless and greedy. And a hypocrite for pretending otherwise. The only difference is that Taylor has a brigade of fans who would go to war defending her for it. I usually love getting insight into an artist's creative process. Like, I really enjoy hearing demos, but the truth is: these Taylor releases weren't intended as true gifts for the fans. It's not about having a peak into her artistry. She wasn't thinking about any of that, only monetary gain and the charts.

I try to stay out of commenting on this thread since I can't stand Taylor and I know she has fans here. But the way she called Scooter Braun "shameless and greedy" for releasing a random live album is just so... wow. The hypocrisy is astonishing to me.

Toilet Sniff is truly a nasty, conniving and mean-spirited woman, I've been saying. I cannot vibe with her.
