LANALYSIS: Relating Songs To Known/Assumed Relationships
Lindsay Lohan replied to Sitar's topic in Lana Thoughts
This is also what I was thinking too, but I believe this whole thing would have happened sometime in 2005/2006 (I don't think 2008 makes sense for her or that her myspace is entirely accurate) If I had to guess what when out in a timeline I would do something like: Late-2005: Lizzy meets Bill and they start dating + Bill introduces Lizzy to Jim (his friend) Feb-Mar 2006: Lizzy goes to Alabama/Mississippi with Bill + creates her myspace under may jailer Apr 2006: Lizzy breaks up with Bill and goes back to NYC to become a singer Sometime in 2006: Lizzy starts dating Jim (I imagine it would have been on and off for the next 2 years) Early 2007: Bill returns from Alabama and it gets awkward birthing the song Get Drunk but they all remain friends Early 2007: Lizzy breaks up with Jim and instantly starts seeing Steven Mertens Mid 2007: Lizzy breaks up with Steven and moves into her own trailer in New Jersey but still friends with Bill & Jim & Steven All hypothetically but this is what makes the most sense to me -
LANALYSIS: Relating Songs To Known/Assumed Relationships

Wait...... Ruby Tuesdays or Mobile I love you then and I always will I love your ultraviolence, I love your ultraviolence Lana could be lying out of her teeth for fun like how she used to tell people she was born in a trailer in Alabama and raised by her grandma but I will ignore that for the sake of the lore -
I was escorted off the premise 10 minutes after I arrived but I laughed, I cried a number of times, I sweat, I danced, I got shot, I ate, and I had many epiphanies Congrats to all the winners except xenoblade 3

I've arrived!!! So honored to be nominated next to so many amazing lipsters

During the Lizzy Grant days she was dating multiple people at the same time and that's why most of her relationships during that period don't add up in a proper timeline Cheated on Barrie with Francesco then broke up with Barrie via interview (Confirmed in Crazy For You lyrics) Cheated on Clay with Sean - Clay tweeted about her cheating on him but I can't find it cause he deleted the tweet but Lana also confirmed it during a live performance with "He’s born in December, and he got married while we were in couple’s therapy together." and that whole thing overlaps the relationship with Clay That whole period between 2019-2022 is very jumbled too so I wouldn't be surprised if seeing different people at the same time as well
-
But... she is? I love Lana but she's quite literally a serial-cheater she's cheated on more than half of her boyfriends The most recently being cheating on Clay with Sean who was also engaged at the time... it's the same thing

Instant classic and is going to smash on the charts I really could not care less if she broke up a marriage like I do not care... literally yes, and? im streaming the song

When I wrote that we still didn't know as much -- ITTJ was the first song found with the Tropico tag in the metadata so I think I assumed it was apart of the EP in some way? It's possible, but I think it makes more sense now if it was for the Tropico album instead, then reworked for Ultraviolence Other than that I think the timeline is pretty solid

Which Lana songs do you prefer the demos/alt versions of?
Lindsay Lohan replied to Mileena 's topic in Lana Thoughts
There's so many but one track I think was especially butchered was For K Pt. 2.... I think the demo of that track is just so much better than the final Also: Freak Lust For Life Pink Champagne I Don't Wanna Go Lucky Ones Life Is Beautiful Be My Daddy (Pussycat Kittycat is simply the best version.....) -
WORST TASTE?!!!?!?!

TBH. I hope she's over this "raw sound" she's done for the past 4 albums... It was cool with NFR but it's very tired now. I hope she goes for a more polished sound this era -- I think a nu-metal sound like with what she did with Serene Queen would be sooooooo cool but I doubt she'd ever do that again. She has so much potential to experiment with her music but she's been very narrow-minded recently which is disappointing to see considering BTD-NFR all have completely different sounds and NFR-OB are basically the same just in different fonts... I am simply just manifesting she steps out of her comfort zone again

This is such a perfect end of the year info wrap-up thank you!!

Now that you mention it... her 2009 songs are totally Born To Die minus the orchestra I don't believe she hated some songs off the album like Gramma, Yayo, and For K pt 2, but others ... all speculation but I don't think she was too crazy for Smarty or Say Can You See since those are the only songs off the album which she has not sung live (from what we know) AKA was kinda the first time she was not making music with her boyfriends sound ex. Arthur Lynn and Steven Mertens Before it's release Lizzy also said this about the album: "I am pleased. The funny thing is, if it was exactly the way I wanted, then I would say that I am completely pleased, but because it's different than I expected, I'll be pleased if many other people like it too. I feel like a shithead saying that...but I hope it gets some kind of recognition just so that I can move on and do some different things." Also head of 5 points records said: "And then we were moving towards the whole album and that’s when things shifted. She wanted to change her name, got new management, they wanted to change the record. A lot of things happened that made it difficult to figure out exactly what image she was going to have, what she was going to support, and [she] clearly didn’t seem that excited about the record. The manager came in and was insulting about the record, and I thought, “Wow, we’re an indie label, we got David Kahne to produce this record and you’re negative about it.”" Also another time she said "It wasn't how I wanted" or something like that but I can't find it. She definitely wasn't feeling the album as a whole. But yes she must have loved some songs she made with him like Gramma Posted some quotes about her not being completely satisfied with it above. Lizzy and Kahne did hit it off but they were also butting heads Ex. The Ocean turning into Kill Kill cause she was frustrated with them
-
I really wonder what was it about this album that Lizzy hated so much... she's said a couple times that it didn't turn out how she wanted so I wonder what her vision for the album was before David Kahne took control... her vision for the album post Mertens / pre-Kahne is so interesting to me I also think it's really interesting how this album was put on hold for two years because she didn't like it and we almost got a completely different album by 2010 I can't even imagine what this album would have been like if she went through with adding those other songs

The way this leakmas wasn't even that bad comparing it to other years where nothing was leaked for christmas / only 1 demo and a lossless file leaked I personally think Vivian, Heavy Hitter (rehearsal), Star Lux, Platinum Greenwich, and Your Girl mix 11 are pretty cool !!! Beats 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 in terms of actually getting stuff TBH
