Ballads are sometimes used as promotional singles from pop albums because they can appeal to a wide range of people so perhaps that's why they're pushing the track just before the albums release. I doubt it will get proper single treatment. Just something to keep the hype there.

Ok Lightning is pop perfection

Twice and Lightning are the standouts. I played Twice over and over again! Used To Know Me sounds kind of dated though, something about the chorus screams 2015-2017 to me.

Black Bathing Suits verses are so good. The first verse is so mellow, and the second verse is simply magnificent and sung beautifully with great lyrical moments and Lana opening up to her listeners, you can her the rawness, vulnerability, and bravery in her voice. The last two minutes of BBS are glorious, the yelling, the SNL reference with the vocals, Lana giving her critics the middle finger yet again and bluntly. This might be in her Top 30 best songs of all time for me.

I always thought they say her music sounds the same because of the vocals and or the slower pace of the songs. But I feel like Lana has been making an effort to switch up her vocal style with the last two albums specifically on White Dress, Beautiful, BBS, Dealer.

I'm sure those 3 songs will be on the album, Blue Banisters is a title track after all, and the most popular on Spotify among the three. And they aren't hard for me to find on Spotify, it's an easy search, and they're listed on her profile under Singles and EPs. Anyway, it seems Arcadia is just the name of the song in the snippet she shared last month. I like Blue Banisters, it's a beautiful song, but legendary? I don't think so. Text Book is cute, I'm over it now though. I never vibed much with Wildflower but it is a good song.

Can it please be Arcadia? That title is interesting, and makes me hopeful she's going for a more pop sound. Maybe she scrapped Blue Banisters after the underwhelming response to the three songs. She realized we need fun and color! No more blue, Lana....serve a Chromatica!

Maybe in Text Book she's talking about her significant other as her daddy, not her actual father?
