Smarty over This Is What Makes Us Girls because I really do love Smarty, it's a fucking bop. And I love Yayo, specially the the AKA version, but Without You was lowkey a Tumblr hit and I still use the song a lot tbh. The chorus is beautiful.

I've been saying for the longest it would be amazing if she released a collection titled "LANA DEL POP" with all of those classic poppy unreleased songs. A boy can dream. But yeah, Resistance is so fucking good. Someone in the comments said it sounds like a rom-com movie soundtrack song and I agree but in the best way of course. It just evokes such a good, fun and playful feeling when I listen to it. I play this song daily. And to think I just discovered this song in the last few months! Whew. One of the best things about being her stan, there's always new content. I have not listened to ALL of her unreleased, there's still songs sitting on my iTunes library I've never touched *but will one day hehe*

Both are masterpieces if I'm being serious. AKA definitely has higher highs....I mean, Raise Me Up 2nd verse alone.... Truly, honestly, one of her best unreleased songs. This gives me such an immense feeling of euphoria.

How has it outgrown the supply. She's released 7 14-16 track albums (with the except of COCC) in 9 years. She has fed her fans. If anything, they're spoiled BECAUSE of the supply she's given. She also doesn't need to put her unreleased music on streaming plats. A lot of those songs are already well known and have millions of views on YouTube. She doesn't care for popularity like that, plus we know her stance on her unreleased music being out there, even if she's performed them live on her own terms. Lana is an ARTIST. Let's respect her! Some fans need to just go and appreciate the material that has already been released and leaked instead of being whiny and impatient. Let her finetune the record before y'all run to just complain about the new album and call it rushed and lazy.

Agreed. Some users saying they're "over it" just because Ben said "new music soon!" and nothing has been announced yet. Like damn if that's all it takes! She released 2 albums last year, a poetry book, and she has an entire unreleased discography 5x bigger than her official one....have patience and stop complaining. Lana has a plan and knows what she's doing.

This kind of relates to what I was saying in another thread about how she has so many unreleased tracks and I questioned the intent behind it and said I felt as though she was carefully curating her sound and experimenting with different styles. I don’t think it’s far off to think entire album concepts were redone with entirely different or new tracks. I feel like this happened with UV specifically. That’s one release that felt like it was probably completely different at one point before Dan became involved. There’s also a lot of songs she did post BTD but pre Paradise that makes me feel like she was still deciding which direction to take after BTD. Fine China and Yes To Heaven honestly sound very Honeymoon to me, but we’re definitely recorded earlier right? I could hear them on UV sonically but lyrically no. seeing what she did with LFL makes me inclined to believe your theory is correct. Seems like she completely turned that album inside out from its originally concept.

Now THAT was a moment. She gave the fans everything they wanted with Cherry. Shame we never got a visual. Her biggest downfall is lack of visuals IMO. I know people shit on UV visuals but they were very effective and gorgeous MVs. Wish she still cared to do bigger MVs like that versus these authentic candid type of video clips she stitched together now. edit cause maybe I’m wrong maybe it’s better she doesn’t try to do too much with her MVs it might cheapen the music if she tries too hard. The NFR videos kinda worked but I won’t be forgiving ha for teasing that movie like MV she released with NFR and it was just videos we already saw and her getting chased by a police car with her friends dddd.
