Don't Forget is not a song to release after a 9 year long wait. It's boring, nothing new, nothing changed, same old shit. No punch in it really. No grabbing hook. Chorus doesn't pull you in. Just all around boring. Sounds like a B-side or something. She's OVER.

It’s a confessional song but it’s too dark for an album that glimmers on redemption and hope. It’s still a sad and gloomy album, but the message on BPBP doesn’t fit on an album where most of the songs are expressing feelings of regret, neutrality and salvation.

Also this lyrical serve in 2099 automatically makes it worthy: Woo! I really love the first verse in WYTAM. I love when an artist can be vulnerable, yet confident enough to write lyrics about their imperfections. It's really inspiring and relatable.

Does Lana want kids? At the end of Blue Banisters, Lana sings about Chuck‘s baby and her banisters go from blue to green and grey. Green is a color typically associated with renewal, resurrection and fertility. Grey symbolizes neutrality. I couldn’t help but wonder if the birth of her niece has made Lana want children herself, or solidified her feeling of wanting to have children. Lana sings “give me children and take away my pain”, which says that this is something she feels will heal her and ultimately make her happy. She then sings that there’s a hole in her heart, and I’ve heard many women express that same sentiment about aging and not having children. Lana also sings very touchingly about Chuck dealing with postpartum on Sweet Carolina and it just seems like this is something that’s had a profound impact on Lana. Just wondering what you guys think about this I don’t know if it’s already been discussed but I would love to hear some thoughts.

Every song on Crash really is a bop. The only one I don't care for is Every Rule because I'm not huge on ballads in general but it's good and I appreciate the lyrics. I also love that this album only has 2 songs with features, like this album really is just Charli's voice and I love that since she's been heavy on collaborating over the years which is great but I like that she took a step back from that to just create some solid solo pop songs. I'm crying. She's a legend.
