  1. Me too! As much as I adore Summer Bummer and Doin' Time, this has more oomph to it. Summer Bummer is a bit gloomy and Doin' Time doesn't have as a good of a beat. This track deserves to be her biggest hit since Summertime Sadness, commercially speaking.
  2. You know I'm with you on this, but 2019 would be more accurate (Doin' Time and Don't Call Me Angel). It's been 5 years without pure, unabashed FUN. But we fucking made it!
  3. Yeah, well, nothing will ever beat Summertime Sadness. But as far as summer hits go, this is in her top 5. Summertime Sadness Doin' Time Tough High by the Beach Love (in no particular order) I'd add Summer Bummer and Groupie Love to these, too, if they didn't kind of, well, flop.
  4. That Somewhere in Atlanta t-shirt is fabulous! Very 90s grunge
  5. OMG do we think this could hit no. 1 on Billboard? Do we have any stats so far? Also, when will know what number it debuted at? Next week? It's got more than 1 million views on YouTube since last night, which doesn't strike me as a lot. I think Dua's Illusion had more on its first day, and the single only reached #43. Any stats, anyone?
  6. Yeah, a lot of outrage over the idea that some folks might prefer tough to AW. And there are people who do But, for me, it's simple. AW, as lush, dark and meticulously produced as it is, is a very depressing cut. I need to be in a particular mood to listen to it. Tough you can play to feel good, in the car, on holiday, with your friends, with your boyfriend. That being said, it's a matter of personal preference. And we don't need to have these songs compete like horses. They're both good in their own way.
  7. you think this is her worst song lyrically? isnt beautiful just "beautiful🎶" on repeat like 7,000 times? 'Sad girl, i'm a sad girl, i'm a sad girl'? coachella? Puh-lease! Tough is a lyrical masterpiece by comparison
  8. remember when i was advocating for lana's country to sound like old town road and you all laughed at me? yeah. Nuff said
  9. please... national anthen was such basic bitch pop in a way - especially the chorus. the video ate more than this. I'll give you that
  10. please... national anthen was such basic bitch pop in a way - especially the chorus. the video ate more than this. I'll give you that
  11. Leave Clay alone seriously the dude slayed, its gonna be a hit, (bigger one sadly than anything jack co-wrote on ldr records). So we should all be licking his ass (and i bet its yummy
  12. andrew watt of doin' time? okay, we need him take over lasso in full
  13. so, not just a pretty face, huh? yeah, he ate. I'm glad that Lana is open to using other writers' work. a lot of things have happened with this song that many of you weren't that fond on when they were brought up as suggestions. old town road vibes, new rapper collabs, country, other writers' lyrics... and now you're all lapping it up
  14. This track is the BOP I've been begging for for 5 years. Wow. Absolute fire! The beats, the production, the rap verses... The fact that we get two repeats of the chorus, two verses, a bridge, and an outro... All in 3 minutes. Like, damn! Favorite part: second verse and their voices mixing together. Can't wait to blast this on my Boze speakers.
  15. This lol. Since they couldn't be bothered to clarify things and there's no press release, any discourse is useless until there's a confirmation/we see it's on Lasso tracklist Sad but true
  16. It's on his YouTube account and under his label, babe. The jig is up. This is not a Lasso song, it's a Quavo song.
  17. I'm just bummed that it's not a Lasso lead. Anyone else feel the same? I'm worried we'll be getting a Chemtrails 2.0. with Lasso if if's meant to be pure country with no trap and bops. Like, Tough possibly being on the album made the record seem so much more exciting somehow. But oh, well.
  18. Okay, I just realized that since Quavo is posting the video on his channel, this really probably isn't a Lasso track.
  19. Yeah. Guess the song drops first, then the MV.

  22. American Queen: great song title! Especially just after American Whore. American Queen: terrible album title! Hopes she sticks to Lasso.
