Suki Waterhouse had a lot of fun as support act at Wembley. She's just a smaller artist and probably had her best day https://www.instagram.com/p/C-0zg5QSxPu/

Lana Del Rey and Quavo “Tough” - OUT NOW!

that's why we can't stop listening to DCMA and SS Gervais Remix but Blinding Lights is actually really good -

currently I'm going through the AOTY year-end-lists: https://www.albumoftheyear.org/list/summary/2021/ for each album (whose genre I like) I look for songs with a user rating of 85 or more, more precisely 85 if it has at least 2000 ratings, 86 if it has at least 1000 ratings and so on.

And this is where I see the problem with her work with Jack, because a lot of it might sound like you've heard it elsewhere. Not that Jack can't produce a varied sound, but he's worked with so many other well-known artists that it's becoming increasingly difficult to get something completely new.

I agree with Norman, but Thunder and Dealer were some of the best songs on BB and Living Legend and Cherry Blossom were nice, might have been better if they'd been reworked too

doesn't have to be bad

Lana Del Rey and Quavo “Tough” - OUT NOW!
bluechemtrails replied to rocknrollgroupie's topic in New Releases
Times are very different today. There are a lot more Spotify listeners, in the days of Paradise people watched more YouTube. The Burning Desire video has 69 million views compared to just 61 million Spotify streams. If you put YouTube views and Spotify streams in relation like Tough with 13/92 ~ 1/7, then Burning Desire would have almost 500 million streams today after adjustment. Sales on physical sound carriers, which were significantly higher back then, are also not taken into account. -
How would you feel if LDR used AI for future music releases?
bluechemtrails replied to Strangelove's topic in Lana Thoughts
Perhaps we should differentiate between AI-generated lyrics and AI-generated sound. Lyrics? Absolutely not. And sound? It might not be so bad to find a new interesting melody with help of AI, but what I don't like is when the whole composition or production would be AI-generated. -
picsart and spotify have also commented, the holy trinity

I hope no song will be shorter than 4 minutes, but I just realized that almost every single released after Ocean Blvd has been shorter
-
in fact it was much better

Creating AI-generated music is nothing special, almost anyone can do it these days. The special thing is to be original, to create something that nobody else can do, not even an AI. -

I don't know why artists would use AI, because the creative work is the best part of making music. -

somehow I had a dream last night where August 31st was the official release date (however unrealistic that may be)

Lana to collaborate with Quavo ('Tough' and 'Fly')
bluechemtrails replied to ionut's topic in New Releases
Fly didn't even make it into Spotify Top 200, we can be very satisfied with Tough
