Either you're a fan or have almost nothing heard from her, there's nothing in between.

At least she is now on the spot in german main media, but her new song or album is nowhere mentioned ... https://www.spiegel.de/panorama/leute/lana-del-rey-us-saengerin-deaktiviert-ihre-social-media-profile-a-a2365dcf-9a73-4c63-b145-15a8e12295ab https://www.stern.de/lifestyle/oeffentlichkeit-saengerin-lana-del-rey-deaktiviert-social-media-profile-30736254.html

song of the day

She starts with "...we're deactivating our social media accounts...". So they were not managed by Lana only and it was maybe not only her decision.

I think she could be disappointed/sad because "Arcadia" performed not as well as expected in the charts.
-
I like how she posted the "Fuck it I love you" / "The greatest" video on Twitter!

I think the Great American Songbook is meant, e.g. "Summertime" belongs to it. -
very good news!
-
It's good that she evolves and not sticks to her old style and stereotypes.
-
If her body is a map of L.A. and she leaves L.A., is she then leaving her body (dying)? Because in the video her body vanishes and she blurs into the starry sky. She's also speaking about a cross on a hill and the slowly playing trumpets are giving me this impression.
-
german song Lana by Steasy sings about "Summertime Sadness", so with "Lana" obviously Lana Del Rey is meant
-
"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" can also be found in the three verses: verse 1 - the good: she describes the relationship of her body with L.A. and remembers her lover verse 2 - the bad: she has doubts about herself, can't stay in L.A., speaks of her hate outro - the ugly: she feels trashed and is desperate, everything went wrong

Arcadia is today topping the Genius charts: https://genius.com/#top-songs

before 4:17 - the good after 4:17 - the bad and the ugly (with trap beats) herself and the music the melody played at the interlude is from the soundtrack of the movie "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (titled "The Trio" like the interlude) just my thoughts

Maybe here is a hint:
-
Has anyone kept his eye on the long falling tone sequences in the chorus and outro? They remind me of slowly falling leaves in the fall.
-
A difficult but beautiful song, I think it's not for everyone. But „If everyone likes it maybe it's not that good“ . P.S. Needed some time to understand the text, especially the end. Actually it's a very sad song.
