Lana isn't featured on Spotify, so for me it's technically not a Lana song (for my non album playlist) the song sounds ok in parts, but overall I don't think I like it, it also reminds me a bit of Midnights

I have a negative foreboding. Not only is Lana's voice missing, but the song unfortunately develops in a different direction than the first snippet suggested. In the worst case, her voice is only briefly sampled.

I just realized that Lana is represented on 3 out of 8 AOTY nominations

I think if she gave it up, it's because there are a lot of artists making this kind of music today. As has already been mentioned, Lana has evolved and her focus is now more on expressing herself in lyrics than on atmospheric music.

I'm curious to see where it goes from here. Will she continue to develop her previous music further or go in a completely new direction? What new ideas did her tour this year bring or will she fall back on previously written, unreleased music? It doesn't look like a new single from the album will be released this year or was Say Yes To Heaven a possible foretaste? I remain curious and don't have the slightest clue.
