  1. now that you have mentioned it, I also notice that many scream more than sing with emotion some good acts were also eliminated in the semifinals this time, because there was no jury, only audience voting
  2. But Lizzy was a Hollywood stan, she would choose blonde to be Marilyn
  3. Margaret Qualley denied that Dec. 18 is her wedding date, so it's probably just fictitious https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/movies/story/2023-05-12/margaret-qualley-lana-del-rey-jack-antonoff-margaret-engaged-wedding-date
  4. (Verse 1) In the ancient days of old, A story of melancholy unfolds, A jewel of hope, shining bright, In the midst of a nostalgic night. (Chorus) Temperament spinning, like a wheel, Gander at the memories we feel, Jalopy rides through the past, Moments we wish could forever last. (Verse 2) Through the streets of time we roam, A bittersweet symphony, a somber tone, The jewel of hope, our guiding light, In the arms of nostalgia, we take flight. (Chorus) Temperament spinning, like a wheel, Gander at the memories we feel, Jalopy rides through the past, Moments we wish could forever last. (Bridge) Hold on to the memories, hold on to the pain, For in the depths of our hearts, they remain, A melancholic tune, a nostalgic embrace, A journey through time, a never-ending chase. (Chorus) Temperament spinning, like a wheel, Gander at the memories we feel, Jalopy rides through the past, Moments we wish could forever last. (Outro) As the sun sets on our tale, The jewel of hope begins to pale, But in the spinning wheel of time, Our melancholic memories forever chime. https://www.perplexity.ai/search/2360e0b8-80b6-419f-8cbe-59fc4b73c7e2?s=u
  5. I also occurred to me that each Hollywood personality she embodies represents a different album era. For example, in one of the last scenes where she gives the finger, that would obviously be the BB era.
  6. Lana Del Ray A.K.A. Lizzy Grant (2021 remastering by @bigspender )
  7. for me the album was more about family and marriage and not about movies and old Hollywood, but I hope that we get these themes in ldr10 or maybe you could say that the video goes beyond the album and is about her whole artist life, or what the character "Lana Del Rey" represents
  8. she's very popular in Northern Europe and I think she should give at least one concert there, also in Eastern Europe
  9. Ocean Blvd, I think this is a pretty good song for a MV
  10. what also has to be appreciated is that she didn't really use the video to promote the album, it's an extra, a gift for all of us and she probably spent a lot of money on it
  11. I think the whole video was scripted and the 'bts' parts belong to the original concept. So there's always an intentional message behind every scene, and even when she's playing someone, she's expressing what she feels.
  12. well, it's professional, intentional and well done if people don't realize that, they just didn't pass the test
  13. anyone who complains about the 'bts' has failed the intelligence test
  14. how could the video cut it if they used an extended version of the song? I hope this version gets released on streaming
  15. perhaps they also represent everything superficial, which we strive for, but which doesn't really make us happy at the end
  16. 'Rockefeller' could also just be a synonym for a rich man
  17. but this is much better, maybe you need some time to get it
  18. because a polished music video about the broken Hollywood dream makes no sense
  19. whoever uploaded the first video shouldn't have linked to her old twitter, instagram and tumblr also, the sign up link doesn't work
  20. also interesting to watch how her mood deteriorates from scene to scene and her "rockefella/umbrella" looks in more and more skeptically or the many incidental details like the man dropping the film flap the video has multiple layers and it will probably take days or weeks to analyze everything properly
  21. I think they could stand for success or glamour, but there are certainly more possible answers.
  22. The music video somehow reflects her entire career. The rich old man represents the music industry, the diamond necklaces her success, which becomes more and more a burden. In the end she exchanges them for simple sugar necklaces and is happiest with them.
