I agree and I hope so too. Iirc she mentioned Keshas Animal era as an inspiration as well, and Kesha does this similar style of talking directly in her songs if that makes sense idk I see the connection. 
 
Also her being like this album is gossipy, about other people etc. I buy that to a certain point, but I believe it will be much more than just "shit talking" - based on the vibe I get from Girl. I mean, Charli is usually sooo open and vulnerable in her lyrics and I feel like shes always kind of struggling with herself & her faults so I think this will be definitely a continuing theme throughout XCX6. Seeing how she‘s lived through quite some drastic changes since Crash (I assume…) I think she will approach this self reflecting/self aware aspect of her music differently and if it involves expressing difficult and uncomfortable feelings - even towards other people - I believe it to be earnest and genuine, which I very much appreciate and look forward to. I think it‘s very brave of her, to say what isn‘t meant to be said, but everyone kind of thinks it. 
 
This is just my take on what I think the album will be partly thematically about - again, kind of based on I think about it all the time and Girl. 

i am SO here for addisons pop girl era. obsessed was okay but her other work is truly chef's kiss worthy. shes a tiktok girlie, she didnt need to make great music, but she did, and the fact that shes a pc music girlie working with charli??? we have no choice but to stan

also that theme which is explored on the lyrics gets my hopes up about Girl being on the album. tho I hope that some more conventionally relatable tracks like I Think About It All The Time will make the final cut of the album as well.

Which is why I'm all about owning physicals and buying the music versus streaming if I can help it. I don't want to be a metric in a dataset that labels and marketing are then using to push artists in certain directions for commercial viability. I want art, as unfettered by capitalism, as much as possible. Good, bad, ugly, or just straight up horrendous - IDC. I want music and art without the corporate and capitalistic "safety rails" that means-tested and data-driven analysis has brought to the industry.

just thought it was relatively funny considering our previous discourse naughtily instigated by me on here. 

On the subject of charli live- she’s a great performer- very interactive and lots of movement and crowd hyping but she wasn’t singing much on the crash tour. By that I mean you could barely tell with the backing track and correction on what was a live vocal and what was synced up in harmony so it’s basically the studio karaoke track.
Had a good overall time though and it wasn’t that expensive 

i think if anyone else released girl it would be a hot mess but charli’s candour and delivery is what makes the song - it’s truly conversation and reminds me of uffie and to a extent kate nash’s foundations lmao (not comparing them at all but it’s just a song where the delivery and artist singing is more important than just the lyrics) 

Charli said she talked to taylor about it and theyre cool, which im honestly shocked by 😭
 
i doubt taylor understood what charli meant because theyre so different and she’s never really been in the same position career wise

If the album is called Party Girl, I’m surprised it took this long for her to include her favorite word in an album title but it does feel right
