i don’t understand why every song she released in 2017 and 18 was a masterpiece and now her music doesn’t do anything for me. it’s like she had the perfect formula, lyrics, voice, music videos, etc. and then it all went to shit. she’s had a few decent songs here and there ever since then but nothing that blows me away

i don’t agree with most of anthony fantano’s reviews but he’s 100% right about pog. the one thing i’ll give grimes is that the new music video is beautiful but the song is one of the least creative things she’s ever released and her vocals sound so off. not to mention the atrocious lyrics about elon

player of games is atrocious compared to her first 4 albums. her voice sounds too nasally and the song is boring as hell

the album isn’t her best but i can see why people enjoy it i have a hard time getting into her vocals except for when she belts like at the end of happier than ever. hopefully her whispery voice grows on me though
