  1. Definitely a lyric from another track. The Grants, perhaps? The photoshoot is breathtaking. And the interview with Billie is quite great, too. I’m genuinely impressed. I’m also very excited about Kintsugi and Fingertips which must be the core of the album.
  2. It sounds like A&W will be representative of the album’s opposing elements: dark and fragile vs. upbeat and playful. Less than 5 hours left! Although I’m tempted to skip it and wait for the album release (I’m pretty sure I’ll fail miserably and will eventually give in, lol!)
  3. I think that there are only two possible scenarios: A) Interview Magazine + A&W tomorrow B) Interview magazine tomorrow + A&W on Thursday (so that Interscope can focus solely on Polachek’s new release tomorrow)
  4. I have a hard time imagining what is so sonically unprecedented and wild about it, so I’m keeping my expectations very low. I mean… Don’t get me wrong, It sounds cool, but I fear BOZ might have overreacted as usual.
  5. Lmao she’s such a troll for releasing A&W on Valentine’s Day. I truly believe that this is going to be a major moment for her. Both in terms of critical acclaim and popularity.
  6. I can’t at the fact that I promised myself NOT to listen to A&W in case it’s released as a single lmao. I’m too excited right now. Snippet tonight on the oceanblvd acccount and release on Friday?!
  7. We’re thick-skinned. We can handle it. Now, spill.
  8. I mean…yeah lol. He described poor Kintsugi as a song with a bare piano where Lana barely opens her mouth to sing, and yet @Kintsugitold us that the melodies are spectacular and she sings her heart out, while it was literally confirmed by the production credits that the song also features guitars, drums, and synths. They could be subtle of course, but it’s still a bizarre exaggeration. Not to mention that he kinda implied that Candy Necklace is piano-only, and it has dozens of instruments lmao.
  9. Given what we know about Let The Light In (a song about one’s longing for peace), I expect that entire section (Tracks 8-12) to be the emotionally draining one on the album. And then things get lighter, more carefree and playful on Side D based on the vague descriptions about the last few tracks being « vibey ». It’s going to be an interesting twist; Lana’s albums usually end with soft, simple, melancholy tracks.
  10. Neil knows exactly what he’s doing. Teasing two new ocean pics + following the oceanblvd account? Now, come on now…something has to be announced in the next few days even if it’s just the box set/merch. Until then…
