Reading the article it sounds like Lana just liked the studio so she came back to record some songs for fun. Maybe it's "secret" because she doesn't know yet what she will do with these songs. The instruments used don't sound like country.

Now that I think of it, last pre-release some users were absolutely convinced LDR9 will be country even after Lana already confirmed an orchestral sound in an interview

Jack already talked about the recent music he has been recording with Lana and it sounded more like an experimental direction and not country.

In the EU they can't charge for right to delete, no matter what they write here. I'd just write them an email from the same address you signed up with and request to get your data deleted. That is usually enough.
