The music video for Joyride is boring and unnecessary in my opinion. It's a pointless chase with nothing to offer than scenes of driving and shooting at Kesha by some random individuals. It lacks substance.

Caretaker's albums are pretty eerie and scary at times. Highly recommended!

Are you new to Sky Ferreira?

The ex-girlfriend song is finally something fresh in Jillian’s discography
-
The verses are quite understandable, but I can’t decipher the chorus
-
The song’s great - as someone said above, it’s like a sister song to Don’t Forget, maybe a little more hard-hitting: I feel like I need a few more listens though, to get into these melted vocal layers (or maybe these are just my speakers). I love that we got to the point of a new Sky Ferreira release. Can’t wait for it to be officially out!

Innocent Kind (Restarted after Sky forgot the first couple lines) Night Time, My Time (After the song finished, Sky excused herself, came back after 2 minutes, said she vomited off-stage) Sad Dream Guardian (Sky said they weren't going to play this but now decided to. It's on the printed setlist after AYR.) Everything Is Embarrassing

I'm right after listening to the album. For me, it's a 3/10 record - it's not an entirely terrible thing as there are a couple of enjoyable songs. I feel like it's only in the middle section of the album that the cool stuff happens - CRUSH, LIFETIMES, ALL THE LOVE and NIRVANA are all pleasant to listen, definitely the best songs on the album. In turn, the worst part is the opening sequence all the way until this goddamn awful I'M HIS, HIS MINE ends - I think she tried too hard with these. The closing section is meh-to-mediocre, with ARTIFICIAL being the absolute worst (wtf are these sounds????), TRUTH being tolerable, and WONDER ending the album on quite a positive note. Generally, the album feels uninspired, AI-produced at times, and soulless, but I can think of myself putting some of these middle tracks back on the spin.

You can easily pick some songs off At Weddings by Tomberlin. This is like one of the coziest records I know, and I love it profoundly.

I’m his, he’s mine is a snoozefest. The featuring is of ice slice quality

I'm doing a relisten of Serpentina right now, and I'm in the middle of the album and OMG how bad it is... My initial opinion has been confirmed - the album feels messy, uninspired, overproduced, with vocals so heavily processed that one can barely understand what she sings about. Each individual track is all over the place. Where is the goddess...
-
I just have to mention this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJenaaltdCw

I think it’s just the case of the sole recording of it (the volume level of the mic increased too much when editing) - I guess that when heard live, it didn’t feel like anything was off

An old set from 2013 I’ve never seen any performances off before. It feels odd hearing her getting those higher registers in Lost in my bedroom and I Will’s verses, nowhere to be present in present gigs (especially in the case of I Will). Something’s wrong with the mic setup tho, her pitch is way too loud compared to the instruments. BUT she feels way more chill being on stage (more interactions with the audience) than nowadays.

Did anyone else notice how nice and crispy the transition from Guardian to Innocent Kind is?
-
No, but everything is uploaded on YT
-
I personally recommend Innocent Kind, Descending, Voices Carry (semi-unreleased), Guardian and All My Lovers Die.
-
Well, it's certainly better than the sexorcism garbage. There's a few bops (like two-three).
-
Am I the only one who started hearing some kind of glitch in the new song? When the verse "A label whore but I'm bored of wearing clothes" ends, there's a weird split-second-long noise after the last consonants of clothes. I didn't notice it until today, and now I can't unhear it, please help
-
no flip phone on the album, but this terrible yoga & atrocious pills got a pass omg
-
omg, i actually think this could be real! fingers crossed too!
-
I'd love her to dive into a more rock-ish kind of sound with this next album, something like Better Than That & Forget.

or the musicians themselves - it's their own choice; someone as recognisable as kesha does not really need to follow a tiktok trend in order to reach the audience with her music... so, it's a matter of choice really. I deeply hate the tiktok culture tho and what it did to perception of music in general.
