Not necessarily - Electra Heart had a shit load of producers and is considered a concept album due to the character and storyline she created and the way she promoted the album (with the videos and her having the heart on her cheek all the time) Froot only had one producer apart from Marina herself and yet is not a concept album.

pretty much all decent albums have general themes and recurring motifs within tracks, that doesn't mean that they are all concept albums lmao you can't just call random albums concept albums because they talk about repeating themes - then surely all albums ever recorded that were primarily about love would be "concept albums about love" (and let's face it an album without a theme or repeating motifs would just mean a compilation of unrelated songs aka shit)

I kinda feel Lana's being constantly praised by the media partly because of her poorly they treated her in 2011/2012 - it's just weird because everything she's ever done recently has been praised and I know Lana is iconic but it just seems bizarre. we shall have to wait til Honeymoon reviews are published to see what the general media hive mind think of her
