After reading these boards for years, watching endless footage of performances, I went in to the show tonight with very low expectations with the hopes of minimizing disappointment. And I have to say, she really did wonderfully. It was a very magical moment to FINALLY see her sing theses songs live after 10 years of stanning. It truly felt like one of those rare beautiful moments as a sky stan where it pays off. And god damn it was SOOOOO worth it. I hope we get an album someday, or any new releases at all, but seeing her tonight could easily tide me over for however many years that may take. That’s my fucking bitchhhhh. Xoxo, Ferrari forever

Is anyone else having trouble streaming Lana on Spotify? Ever since the day A&W was released I can’t stream any of her music. Everything is grayed out. I don’t have this problem with any other artist on there though. I wonder how many people it’s happening to, and if it’s affecting the stream count significantly? I’ve been listening on YouTube 😭

I’d assume she is referring to his song called “Don’t Forget Me” off his album Pussy Cats. Such a great album and I could totally see lana vibing to it

Am I the only one that thinks that DL sounds like sky’s attempt at a Fiona Apple homage? The vocals and tone, and especially the percussion sounds super similar to “sleep to dream”, the drums are almost identical honestly. She has always discussed how fiona inspires her and seems like she relates to her career trajectory. I also feel like she takes comfort in the fact that fiona releases her albums like 8 years apart and still has a devoted following who trusts her artistic process and integrity. I think that’s why the song sounds like it comes out of left field, as in it sounds nothing like the rest of her body of work, but knowing her love for fiona it makes perfect sense to me. What do y’all think? Do you hear the similarities?
