I can only get so erect.

So much activity on this thread, rushing us towards 7000 posts. I wonder what we get when we hit 7k?

We're sorry for the smell; there was blood on the seats after this woman fell from the ceiling of the plan and was leaping all over the place, we had to sterilize the interior. Oh your bags? We're not responsible for any dirt or fluids found on your baggage; damage may occur during transit and we can't be held responsible for that.

Whatever this movement is, I want Charli to get into next. https://www.theverge.com/24034551/floppy-disk-music-scene-underground-diy Just for shits and giggles.

I think I was wanting more of the "darker" sound from those projects at the time and then Sucker came along and it was just so BRIGHT and exuberant comparatively. Now I look back and honestly I have no shade for Sucker. 2014-2015 was around the time my music tastes really EXPLODED, so it took a moment before I fully embraced her. Back in the 90s I was very clapped to top-level Pop names (Mariah, Madonna) and a lot of euro hits that made it across the Atlantic and got US airplay. Every so often something on MTV would perk my ears and I'd throw it into the pile, but on the whole I was pretty rigid on who and what I'd be interested in. Then in the 2000s I lurched forward a LOT and opened up to more rock, alternative, r&b, techno, trance; I was much more open to a lot of pop music from all areas, but in general I was still "silo"ing artists - if I heard an artist or a band I liked, I would fall in love with them, at that specific point in time. If they changed up their sound or their image, I would throw them in the discard pile and look for a sonic replacement. But around the early 20-teens I started to loosen up a lot more and start rolling with artists' changes, and I started to open up and embrace a lot more smaller artists, indie artists, and flex a lot more whenever people shifted their sound. I think I'd have dipped hard on Charli if I wasn't there yet by the time Sucker popped. Same for Marina, actually. I was (and still am) a die hard EH puritan; Froot gave me whiplash worse than Sucker did, but eventually I adjusted to the temperature of the water.

When Sucker dropped I was confused because it was such a different direction from TR. I was like "....what is this sellout shit???" because I was ADDICTED (and low-key still am) to Nuclear Seasons, Cloud Aura, You, Stay Away.... and then Sucker comes in and I was just "......", Other Angels I knew at the time felt the same. Fancy dropped and we thought it was a fun little feature to get Charli some attention, but then Sucker came after and it was like "wait hold on not this." And then like after a month it was (at least for me) "....you know, it's not that bad." I wasn't too deep into 'the culture' back then, but I had heard of folks losing their shit. Now she's grown on me. Boom Clap, Doing It, Famous, Caught in the Middle... all good.

(There are companies and Etsy shops out there that will help you make your own vinyl cover artwork too, if you/me/we are all really that mad about it)

Making my popcorn for the inevitable pissing and shitting and crying and farting and puking and vomiting and disassociating that is about to happen as all the angels are forced to reconcile with the reality of not having a Hot™ Sexy™ Cover™

Will this thread even be here by then, or will the Angels have torn each other up over sad green foldy cardboard cover and "Von Deuce TIkTok Teasing ASMR Edging Video"? Stay tuned, next time on Dragonball Z.

We need some more Charli emojis in here. This ain't Analboards Lanaboards anymore this is Charliboards now.

Men used to go to war. Women used to raise families, generations, even. A group of people could come together and really accomplish something in history, once. Now we all just sit around, surrounded by modern conveniences and luxuries, and collectively loose our shit over..... *checks notes* ..... green cardboard foldy square with ugly text

BITCH THAT SHIT SENT ME TO ANOTHER PLACE AND TIME AND TOOK ME OUT. Whomever did that deserves an award. It belongs in the MOMA for sheer stupidity alone.

AHAHAHAH I FUKKEN KNEW IT. When I saw the cover I said to myself "F@gs are gonna lose it because it's going to look ugly as fuck on their walls" and I was RIGHT. (I myself would like something more majestic as album art, HOWEVER, I've got plenty of albums with lackluster covers that make it up on my displays from time to time, so I'm truly unbothered) Except the bland minimalism actually does have some vision. She's been on some vibe about "UK Rave bangers techno party rager club" shit, and if you've ever actually gone into a lot of those genres and sub-genres behind it (house, rave, dnb, breakbeat, techno, hardstyle, etc.), those albums and covers - there's shit that's been released that's vinyl only, sometimes it's literally just a blank white label slipcase with a sticker on it. Pulling from my own knowledge/experience - my ex is a DJ and he plays, exclusively, these genres, and specifically a lot of ones that originated and came out of the UK rave and music scene. He also exclusively only spins vinyl when he's performing at clubs, and his collection is filled with plain black records, in simple solid slipcases and covers, with next to no other details on them aside from random stickers or sharpie marks and that's it. That's just how that whole movement rolls. The minimalism of the cover does actually pay a lil homage to the genres and vibe she's been talking about pulling from, so while it's boring as shit, it DOES fit the bill, as much as everyone is yucking the yum.

Wait...are we all collectively upset about the vinyl cover being what it is because it means we can't have some sexy and dramatic Charliboobs on our vinyl wall display shelves?
-
It's not this thread's fault there so many Lea Micheles in the room.
-
I wonder if there will be some alt covers/variants made? Although historically that doesn't seem to be how Charli does it. Also can we all just bully Ava Max? No particular reason to do so, just feels right.

I was; I just force closed and reopened and it popped up. I s2g the 360 account has been the glitchiest thing. There's been times I've gone to check it and it shows no posts and says I don't follow it/have no access, and then I'll close and reopen and suddenly everything is there.
-
Yeah that's not there for me lmao. It's just a single photo, no swiping. Force closed the stupid IG app and refreshed and now it's there. Wig.
-
Her website just shows the cover and the picture disc for me, nothing about the inside. Even the 360 brat IG just has the green cover.

where the fuck was all that posted?
