the titles are funny this insider info makes sense because the song titles seem to be ironic/satirical, and as much as taylor can be unintentionally cringe i think she’s actually being very tongue-in-cheek with this album. even ‘the tortured poets department’ sounds ironic, especially if it’s meant to reference ‘the tortured man club’.

weekend 2 is actually known for having better performances than weekend 1 because by then, technical issues are fixed, the crowd is smaller so the artist is less nervous, the artist has already performed so they feel more chill, and everything is smoothed out overall. technical issues in weeknd 1 aren’t that abnormal tbh.

i wonder why this always happens to her when she performs live? it’s uncanny. i’ve never seen an artist have this many technical difficulties throughout their career. reminds me of when she sang break up with your girlfriend on bbc live and her mic was completely fucked.

man even tho i’m not a billie fan…after seeing them perform together i’m now convinced that they would create an incredible collab with their angelic voices. i really hope we could see that sometime soon, it would be a well loved song.

oh no i just woke up and ppl on reddit are saying a bunch of people were leaving not even halfway through the show and that it was really boring of course we’re lana fans so…we don’t have any complaints and we know how chill she is live. but you have to think about how this is a general crowd that isn’t gonna fangirl over her ballads. lana is not a huge performer at all, she’s rarely hyped at her shows/doesn’t entertain the crowd much which is fine, i’m happy to see her stand and sing. but for coachella…people expect more energy :/

yes i hope she performs high energy songs like the ones you listened, i mean it’s COACHELLA she should perform her bops and trendy songs. it’s one thing for her to perform slower songs at her own shows since that’s more of her specific fanbase who loves/knows all those songs, but there’s gotta be more energy at a big festival like this

ok damn billie! she called out artists who put out multiple vinyl variants with slight differences to get you to buy all of them. i have to agree because tbh vinyl variants should’ve always been about different colored vinyls/covers as a fun alternative to the album’s standard cover or black vinyl. and then also a deluxe record is fine too. but putting out different variants with a different song on each like taylor & olivia did…i think it’s very wasteful.

i really like the music video, unfortunately the song wasted its potential. verses and post chorus was good, i felt like the chorus was too repetitive and should’ve had other lyrics as well. playboi carti straight up botched the song, his part was useless and annoying.
